  • bungie is the premier console shooter developer in my opinion. Their games are tight mechanically, and well-balanced, but yet always introduce new ideas and better iterations of previous ones. Though normally their multi player has focused on more concise game systems, where there are a few weapons and items that all have distinct advantages and disadvantages, and resources are competed over on a classic arena structured map. I'm most excited to see how bungie's very concise and balanced style of design is implemented on larger, persistent open zones with procedurally generated content. edit: forgot to mention rpg elements. It will be very interesting to see how bungie handles role-playing elements. hopefully those are not arbitrary and designed to force the player into a slower-than-natural character progression like in a lot of games where every mechanic is tied to leveling.
  • I really love these but I hope this is what the in game will look like actually

  • The only thing I don't think I like about this game is that it is not in 3rd person. I love the mass effect, warframe kinda view. With a game that allows customization like this being able to see my character perform the actions and moves is a big thing to me. Doesn't make or break the game. Just a wish haha

  • The info has been pretty sweet and the graphics with these screen shots make it even better can't wait for 9/9/2014

  • This game is going to be so good.

  • One of my most anti***ted for the year. Can't wait.

  • I can see the Xbox ppl getting cool preorder content from this game. Considering Bungie is the father of Halo, so I can see some costumes popping up for a few races where you can play as Master Chief or Cortana.

  • I wonder if there will be any Halo references or easter eggs in it... I bet there will be.
  • I almost forgot this was headed to PS3. I wonder if Bungie is also doing the last gen versions, or if they're farming out development duties to someone else to do those versions while they focus on the PS4 and XBone ones? A LOT has been said about how shady it is that EA & Respawn haven't shown or talked about the X360 version of Titanfall yet, and that game comes out in a few weeks. That's never a good sign. I'm curious to see how Activision and Bungie here handle the same information regarding their big shooter of 2014. Destiny is built on a heavily modified/updated Halo Reach engine, isn't it? If that's so, than it's already scalable to PS3 and 360-level hardware... signs are good then that Bungie just may be doing those ports in-house. Here's hoping. The more people who play the game, and get a GOOD version of it, the better.
  • I'm hoping the next trailer isn't another scripted version of the same Old Russia mission they put out there in 6 different forms. Really want some more excitement for this.
  • So far away...

  • Um.........these aren't new

  • Looking good.

  • hasn't anyone noticed that the character animations are pretty much identical to the Halo Reach and Halo 3 animations? the way character's run and gun, how they throw grenades, I mean the overall movements just look like they took the Reach Engine and maxed it out.
  • Have they announced when the beta will be released?
  • Such an amazing looking game. I wish it would launch on PC, but at least the release date gives me enough time to get a PS4.
