  • Not exactly thrilled the the Xbox Beta only runs from July 23rd to July 26th but what are you gonna do. Sony is making it rain on Activision and Bungie right now so they get all the special treatment. (Wait, why does this article say the Beta ends on the 27th but all of Bungie's stuff on their website says the 26th?)
  • Really hoping I get that email. The collectors edition sounds sweet. Guess I'll be pre ordering the collectors edition.
  • I may have to upgrade my limited edition to the Ghost Edition.

  • No love for Xbox owners:(

  • So Xbox gamers have 4 days to play the Beta while PlayStation gamers have 9 days.
  • I will absolutely be getting the limited edition.
  • I'm actually cool with the Xbox beta running 4 days. Gives us a small taste of the full game. I wouldn't want to play the beta longer and leveling up my character knowing full well I'm gonna have to do it all over again with the full game.

  • So Xbox players get 4 days? So unless you play A LOT over the course of that Thursday to Sunday, it doesn't seem like you would get a good feel for the game...I'll give it a whirl but that does not seem very engaging to me

  • While I am saddened that the Beta timeframe for Xbox users has been cut down to a sliver, I am happy to see that Bungie/Activision has found another way to bleed my wallet dry.

  • The term "Season Pass" was too small to use for the price I guess, because "Expansion" sounds like a big version of that. Once I'm putting more than $20 for content that I do not know fully about, I'd take some time to think. Still debating whether to pre-order or not, but I wasn't thrilled with the alpha. Had fun and all for a bit, and I know it's a small slice so can't judge anything from that. However, with school on the horizon, it might not be my Destiny to pick this game up.
  • Bungie just treats their original fanbase like secondhand now,no love for xbox
  • ..I'm going to have to try and get upgraded to the limited edition..

  • I figured the beta would have last longer.
  • Expansion pass... already we are dealing with DLC for this. Are you kidding me.
  • I cannot wait for this game!

I'm an Xbox guy. I have both new consoles. If a game multi platform, then I prefer to play on Xbox. HOWEVER, between the fact that my closest friends are getting it for PS4, and the fact that the PS4 will have some exclusive content for the 1st year, I have finally made my mind up.

I'll be getting the Digital Guardian Edition for the PS4.!

Now FFW to Sept. 9th !!!!

  • I know, I know. But its still hard not to feel like being slapped in the face by Bungie. Barely anyone knew Destiny existed on Xbox until this post.
  • Wanted to pre order the white ps4, now these bonus editions are calling my name. This is a bit troubling for my wallet
  • I'm not one that typically buys limited editions but that Ghost replica and bonus stuff looks really cool. I may have to get it.
  • Huh... only 4 days for X1? Did something happen between Bungie and MS?
  • I think Sony just slid some cash Bungie/Activision's way because Bungie already knows most of the Halo fan base will follow them from Xbox.
