Deadman’s Cross came out almost exactly a year ago on IOS and Android and today Square Enix has released a Vita version of the free-to-play hit. Deadman’s Cross mixes first person shooter elements and a card game together and both revolve heavily around zombies. While the mobile versions originally launched with around 100 cards, the Vita edition has 400 cards to collect.

Deadman’s Cross features both co-op and PvP features that works across all three versions of the game. Considering the mobile versions alone attracted 4.7 million downloads, there should be a healthy amount of competition. Cross-save is a feature of Deadman’s Cross, so you can bounce your save around between all three editions of the game.

The launch trailer above shows off the zombie first-person shooting which you can use to collect all of the different zombie trading cards. The game looks fairly goofy at points with parachuting zombies being a highlight of the trailer. On February 25th, there will be a crossover with Capcom’s Resident Evil Revelations 2, but no further details are known at this time.
