Get Ready For Dead Space 3 With Phil Collins

Dead Space 3 is coming next week, so EA and Visceral have decided to release an exciting launch trailer to get everyone excited. That's fairly typical. What isn't typical, is using Phil Collin's "In the air tonight" as the trailer's soundtrack. It's an odd choice, but I think it works. Check it out below.

Dead Space 3 is coming Tuesday, February 5.

  • ... what?
  • I cant *** wait for this game.

  • Lol. Played through the demo last night. The new additions to the weapon and item crafting system rock. Definitely taking off work the next day.
  • Damn, that version was awesome! Still prefer the original though
  • Another awesome trailer ruined by Microsoft :(
  • the worst part of this trailer was the end where they suggest to use Kinect to enhance the experience. ugh.
  • Phil Collins FTW!
  • Not only does it not fit it's tacky to use something that is popular and trying to leech off of it. DS has become a AAA xbox kiddie game taht has completely traded any unique quality it had for mainstream Michael Bay success.
  • Rick Grimes?
  • That was *** sweet!

  • Ah, Phil Collins. He is actually very talented, and he's got a great voice; it's unfortunate that he has to eat, so he chose to cater to the corny audience. His work in Mike and the Mechanics is sorely missed. As for the trailer, it's good. Sounds like a definite battle, maybe?
  • I just took some Ritalin so I could enjoy the trailer.

  • Works for me.

  • Say what you will about the game, but they know how to put together damn fine trailers (excluding "Your Mom Hates Dead Space").
  • I now want a trailer that focuses on the necromorph pov and it must be playing "Take a look through my eyes" from the brother bear soundtrack. Anything less is unacceptable.
  • Can't wait! I'm going to replay the first two before this one. I hope I can find a good co op partner for this one when it comes out.
  • So instead of a creepy lullaby, which I was pretty sure was a Dead Space tradition, they chose Phil Colins. Excuse me while I break a window.

  • meh. rihanna would have been a better choice.

    I KID, I KID! :P
