A Worthy Sequel

The original Dead Space is easily one of my favorite games, so I was psyched when the sequel was announced. When I actually got my hands on it, I couldn't wait to play it. So here it is. Just for information, I'm not very far in the game. So, yeah.

Story: It takes place 3 years after the original, and so far, it's pretty good. The mysterious  confusion makes this story great. 10

Gameplay: Completely unchanged from the original, with a few twists thrown in. So, in my words, great. 10

Graphics: Very detailed and the darkness is very creepy. The necromorphs also look very demented, which is not surprising. 10

Sound: The voices are great, and Isacc is much more likeable now that he has a voice. Also, the music is phenominal. 10

Diffuculty: I agree with GI. This game can be overly diffucult at times, but nothing impossible. 9

Intro: Absolutely amazing. After getting woken up by a survior, he turns into a necromorph right in front of your eyes. After fighting him off, you run through the ward getting chased by necromorphs. 10

Horror: Much scarier than the first. 10

That concludes it.

Story: 10

Gameplay: 10

Graphics: 10

Sound: 10

Diffuculty: 9

Intro: 10

Overall: 9.83

P.S: I rounded it so that's why it's a 10 and not a 9.75.

  • Edit: Now that I've played Multiplayer, I can edit it.

Multiplayer: A fun experience, even though it feels tacked on. But it doesn't distract you from the actual game. 10
