What's Happening

Dead Space took my Expectations, and Demolished Them......In a VERY Good way.

This Third-Person horror game, you obtain the role of Isacc Clarke, an engineer with little to no training. You are going to the USG Ishimura (a spacecraft), to fix the communications array when you find out that the ship has been plagued by a mutant, zombielike infestation. So, you have to do objective after abjective to run around and fix the ship, and all that good stuff. This game in meant to be a horror game. Many people say it is very scary, but me.......it's not AS scary as I expected. The enemies are pretty creepy. They are called necromorphs. There are some pretty disturbing images throughout the game that add to it's so called "fear factor", and there are moments when I wanted to go cry to mommy. The controls are easy to get the hang of, pretty basic. You can level up too which I thought was really cool. The storyline provides a lot of things to do, but at times it may seem to drag. It's just one problem after another, after another whice for me, takes a few points off the 10/10 score. The weapons are pretty cool, and I mean like....they are not the kind of weapons that you would see in any other game.....they are very uniqe. The trophies/Achievements are good and plenty too. Overall, the game is really good other than a couple minor things, but other than that........really really good game. It completley fufilled my expectations, and then some. Also, for any of you that have played the Doom 3 game, this is pretty much an EXACT replica.
