This game was out a long time before I got it, and I had it a good nine months before actually playing it.  I'm very glad that I got around to playing it though.

I thought this was a great game.  It kept me on the edge of my couch for the first half to two thirds of the game.  I could only play for 1-2 hours at a time because of the scare factor, I made sure to play at night with the lights off to get the full effect.  After 2/3 through though I got used to he monsters and the scare tactics so it wasn't as bad.

I enjoyed the different types of weapons offered, it was nice having something other than a rifle.  There are 1 or two different weapons that are fun at first but become rather ineffective later in the game(flame thrower).  The addition of being able to use kinesis and statis with your gun play also added a little extra flavor.  These abilities definitely become handy later in the game.

All in all I'm glad I finally got to playing this game.  I think it's a must for anyone that enjoys the horror genre.
