In this guide I will be covering the non-story related achievements.

A Bigger Taste…

Drill + Bucket = Drill Bucket  -  all items can be found in the safe house

Nails + Propane = I.E.D  -  all items can be found in the safe house

Bat + Nails = Spiked Bat   - all items can be found in the safe house

Whiskey + Newspaper = Molotov  -  whiskey is found in the safe house, newspapers are found in the streets on the ground

Spray Paint + Pylon= Air Horn -  spray paint is located on the roof of the gas station, pylons are easily found near the maintenance room by the department store.

Beer + Construction Hat = Beer hat   -  beer can be obtained easily by the survivor bob on his roof, the construction hat is on the roof of the building directly across from the department store.

Rake + Battery = Electric Rake  -  rakes can be found in the safe room and in the Big Buck Hardware store, the battery can be found behind the movie theater (note this is not the ally next to the theater where you get the Engine but the area around and behind the theater)

Shotgun + Pitchfork = Boomstick  -  shotguns can be found in the sheriff’s office and the hunting store, pitchforks can be found in the hardware store.

Paddle + Chainsaw = Paddlesaw  -   the paddle can be found past the van that had the pawn shop owner on top of it near the bottom left corner of that building,  the chainsaw can be found in the hardware store.

Still Creek Savior

There are 9 savable survivors.

Fausto Vargas and Gemini Vargas

They can be found once Case 0-4 is engaged. They are located in The Dirty Drink. You must give the guy two beers before he will come with you. The girl will come with you after the guy joins you.

Archie Eaton and Jason Wong

They can be found after two bike parts are retrieved. They are located behind the department store. They will not come with you until you bring back a broadsword which can be found in the hunting store. Archie is also holding the bikes handle bars which he will give you for the broadsword.

 Nikki Valentine, Tia Hernandez, and Sharon Riesinger

 Nikki and Tia can be found after 3 bike parts are collected. They are located in the bowling alley.  They won’t go with you at first because they are worried about their friend Sharon whom was infected and quarantined. You must go to the quarantine area (the overturned ambulance place) and find her. Upon finding her she will not go with you because she is worried about her condition and will ask you to give her Zombrex. Zombrex can be bought at the pawn shop for $25,000. Once you give it to her she will join you but you have to carry her. Take her back to the others in the bowling alley and they will join you too.

Bob and Darcie Blackrock

Bob can be found once Case 0-4 is engaged. He is located on the roof of the building next to the casino. He will not come with you until his daughter is located. Darcie won’t show up until after the psychopath is defeated and you talk to Bob again. She then shows up in the hunting store. She will inform you that she will not be coming with you until you bring her father to her. So go back to Bob and this time he will join you. Then head back to Darcie and she will join you. (note Bob and Darcie have a hug scene and will not immediately follow you)

Once they are all in the safe room the achievement will pop.

Small Town. Deep Pockets

This may require multiple playthroughs.

Money making techniques

You can gamble on or break the machines in the casino to make money this will get you about $7,000 to $9,000. The machines respawn when you go into the safehouse.

You can save Gemini Vargas and she will give you a $15,000 reward. Then you can go and collect gems that were abandoned at the quarantine zone. Upon giving the gems to her she will give you another $15,000.(you will know you can collect the gems when she is by the fence next to the safe room exit)

Ready to Ride

Gas can – by the fuel pumps in front of the gas station

Wheel  - Can be bought at the pawn shop for $5000

Engine – is found in the ally next to the movie theater

Handle bars – exchanged for a broadsword from Jason

Bike Forks – found in the locked shed next to the hardware store. The key to the shed is found on the second floor of the hotel on the floor in one of the rooms.

Zombie Exterminator

An easy way I found to do this is ignore the story after Case 0-4, save the pawn shop owner and buy moose heads. Buy a moose head use it until it breaks then buy another. If the streets are getting to depopulated for your tastes go to the safe room and come back, they will respawn. Repeat until 1000 kills.
