  • LOVE the art. The horse Despair looks amazing.
  • I don't know. Death would look cool as is if he were anyone else, and the voice is nice... but this is Death we're talking about. Death is ominous, scary, not some two-ton tank on 'roids. I think it was a bad design move to have him as the main character. Death just doesn't fit with the art style. Death needs to look classy scary, not the Hulk. 'Cmon people.

EDIT: And the hair looks Emo.
  • I'm gonna play through the first one starting this weekend.  If this one is anything like the first it's gonna be awesome.

  • Nice. I hope they can substantially increase the epicness of boss fights

  • This guy looks like he should be in Slipknot...
  • Death looks far more brutal than his brother.  If the gameplay is improved I'll pick up....I just couldn't get into the first one for some odd reason.

  • Death looks bad@ss. And is the Underworld a confirmed location for this place in the game or is that just GI's assumption? I'm just wondering because so far all we know is that there's Heaven, Hell, Earth and wherever the Charred Council stays. I'm interested to know if they're going to expand on the Darksiders universe.
  • I like what I've played from Darksiders 1, but the fiction is horrible. If they weren't actually going to use Revelations as the basis for the story they should have made the references more subtle. Once you put a mystical being on a horse at the end of the world the inference would have been made. Putting mussel bound tough guys into Revelations is almost as insulting to gamers as that Dante's Inferno game was.
  • I think everything I've seen so far on this sequel is looking pretty cool. The environments, main character, etc. This one seems to be packing a lot more detail than the first.

  • So is that a mask or his actual face?
  • First one was good story wise, but some of the game play was repetitive beyond that though a good all around game, characters were pretty sweet to say the least

  • I still play the first one all the time! Can't wait to get this!
  • I'm a huge fan of the comics & the first game so all this looks incredible already.

I want this to play NOW.

  • Nice - definitely looking forward to this. Even though the first game was criticized for borrowing elements from other games, I had a great time with it. Like a summer movie, it was just plain fun.
  • That is one bad-ass hammer!

  • I'm with everyone else -- I really like the art style they have chosen.

  • Ruin is way more badas$ than Despair, though he is still awesome. These screens look great, can't wait for this game!
  • This game looks just as stylized and great as the original. I'm looking forward to the imaginitive and epic bosses I'll kill.

  • Why do they insist on having pointy saddles?
  • So, War was trying to clear his name in the first game, what's Death trying to do now?
