The lights are on
This game pushed my frustrations to a all time high. And for that I can't complete this adventure. I truly wanted to love this game but many qualities prevented that experience to happen. The main drawback from Dark Void was the technical short comings. I had frame rate drop issues that prevented me from completing the ground sequences to a point that it would frequently freeze. The story was mediocre at best, controls were horrendous, the animations were fluid, the setting could've been redone, music was terrific, but the dogfights were the only reason why I bought this game. Give me a game that strips all the BS and serve its strengths. Other than that, this title taught me not to trust gimmicks and that great ideas don't always stem great results. Way to kick off 2010.
agreed this game needed a better story, better controls, and really just very frustrating.
