The lights are on
When Dark Souls was being promoted, it was with the tagline, “Prepare to Die.” Everything we’ve seen about Dark Souls II suggests that death will be an omnipresent force. That’s why we were surprised by this new trailer.
“This is not about death,” it begins. It isn’t until near the end that this sentiment begins to coalesce into the true spirit of From Software’s series.
Dark Souls is about what you learn from death. It’s about taking the mistakes and turning them into lessons.
You’ll be able to transform those expirations into edification on March 11. Dark Souls II is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. For more, check out the March 2013 issue of Game Informer for an in-depth look at the game.

Could not have put the spirit of the franchise in better words
Super excited for this game, the trailer felt very Hallmark channel to me though.
Hell, I'm not even that interested in his game, just not my cup of tea, but that was one *** boss trailer
Voice over was horrible and made little sense for the most part.
The gameplay was very interesting however, and seems to affirm the Dark Lord ending of DkS as canon.
