The lights are on
Previously announced for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and mobile devices, developer Dynamighty's first game, CounterSpy, will now be infiltrating its way onto the PlayStation 4. You can check out the game's stylish new trailer below.
CounterSpy is a side-scrolling cover based shooter visually inspired by classic espionage movies and television shows. As a member of C.O.U.N.T.E.R., your goal is to infiltrate top secret bases and prevent nuclear annihilation as the two Cold War super powers, the USA and USSR, engage in a deadly arms race. In true spy fashion, a variety of prototype weapons and gadgets are the the players disposal as they fight and sneak their way through enemies to save the world.
Players on the mobile version of the game can link it with the Sony console versions to share progress and unlock items and weapons normally exclusive to Sony platforms. The game is expected to release sometime this summer. For more on CounterSpy be sure to check out our Q&A with David Nottingham, co-founder of Dynamighty and lead game designer for CounterSpy.

Looks pretty cool. Like a side scrolling MGS. lol
Sounds very interesting.
This looks awesome! Right up my alley.
Cold War espionage....looks interesting
I've been looking forward to this one. I'm glad to hear I can play it on my PS4.
I'm glad to see this will be across all platforms, but even more happy to see the PS Vita getting this game as well. This has a original concept which will be fun.
Does anyone remember that old arcade game Rolling Thunder? I can't help but think this is what those games would've evolved into years ago had the industry not leapt into 3D. It's nice to see older mechanics getting fully fleshed out now that the industry isn't keen on following every false trail and rabbit hole that comes along (I'm looking at you, FMV games).
