Chain Chronicle
SEGA has announced today that it will be bringing the popular mobile RPG Chain Chronicle to the US this December. With more than four million downloads since its release in Japan last July, it was only a matter of time before the title expanded into other territories.
Set in the world of Yggdra, players assume the role of a captain tasked with vanquishing the Black Army. To see that goal to its end, players will have to build up an army of over 150 knights, wizards, archers, soldiers, and clerics. Players will bond with the warriors they recruit, unlocking new ally stories and battles.
Battles in Chain Chronicle play out in real-time. Player characters are strategically placed in lines on the battlefield. As Black Army units approach, players will have to tactically manage their army to defend their position and win the skirmish.
Chain Chronicle will be available for iOS and Android on December 11. Check out the video and gallery for a look at what its line defense battles are like.
