The lights are on
Konami has released five new screenshots from the upcoming Castlevania title for 3DS.
These screens are nice, but we have a whole slew of exclusive screens as part of our E3 top 50 coverage, which you can check out by clicking here. It's there where you can see the most exciting screen of all: a screenshot of the map. I'm not being sarcastic. Seeing the Metroid-vania progressively expanding map on the lower screen of the 3DS is, to me, one of the most exciting things about the game. I'm ready to explore some castle environments!

Before when this game was just a name to me; I didn't care about it. Now after these screens, I'm pretty excited for it.
Looking gorgeous, and also looking like a great hybrid of LoS action with Metroidvania-style elements, for which i couldnt be more excited. definitely looking forward to this.

you can't say 3DS has bad graphics. those graphics are gorgeous. I just really, REALLY hope this game will have the same addicting RPG elements we've seen in SOTN and DoS.
Indeed. I have not played a Castlevania game in a long time, and it looks as if it is time to end the streak!
