The lights are on
Despite what George Orwell would have you believe, 1984 was a pretty fantastic year. I know this, because that was the first time I was introduced to my childhood idol: Optimus Prime.
Capcom also had a pretty excellent 1984, releasing stellar titles including the dogfighting shoot 'em up 1942, side-scrolling platformer SonSon, and action puzzler Pirate Ship Higemaru. These comprise the Capcom Arcade Cabinet's fifth expansion pack, which is available now on PlayStation Network for $9.99, and tomorrow (Wednesday, April 17, 2013) on Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft points.
Anyone who has purchased all five packs will also receive two free titles. Vulgus and 1943 Kai are yours for the taking, if you've been a faithful coin-op connoisseur. We've got a trailer showcasing Arcade Cabinet Pack #5 below.

oh, 1942...a great year to party.
Aren't they technically partying like it's 1984?
I may have played the plane shooting game but not the others.
