You'll switch off between two characters in a cinematic story, while fighting both Japanese and Germans. On the Marine side, you will play as Private C. Miller, and on the Russian side, you will play as Private Dimitri Petrenko, fighting along side the Call of Duty famous Viktor Reznov.

I personally liked the Campaign, and I actually had an urge to buy this game after seeing Saving Private Ryan for some odd reason. Most of the missions were pretty fun, but I liked the Pacific Front better. The Campaign seemed more cinematic and adrenaline pumping on the Pacific Front. I'm not saying the Russian Front is bad, it's just a little boring compared to the other.

But for the most part, it's cinematic and entertaining.

The Campaign really doesn't have too many climaxes that most Call of Duty games do. It's just playing mission after mission, and I was slightly disappointed with that, but it surely doesn't ruin the game at all.

If you haven't noticed, World at War is the most graphic Call of Duty yet.

After completing the Campaign, you will be automatically redirected to a game of Zombies, which at the time, was new to the series. I think that the Zombies are easier to kill than Black Ops, but the first default map is rather small and gets way too crowded with Zombies.

But, I do like how the Mystery Box is easy to find in the map.

Next, you might go to Multiplayer, which honestly, is fun and boring at the same time. I like the choice of weapons, but the maps kinda suck, and getting into a lobby these days is quite the challenge. I feel as if some of the maps aren't a necessary addition to Multiplayer.

I'm not saying Multiplayer sucks, it's decent. But, out of all the Call of Duty games, it's the worst one, unfortunately. It's World War II, what do you expect? Sure, the killstreak rewards are absolutely terrible.

If your buying World at War now and planning on using Multiplayer, don't. Most people get hacked of all there progress, or for the lucky bunch, get ranked all the way up to Level 65.

If you get a little sick of Multiplayer like I did, you should go on to the Co-op Campaign. This is sure a fun game mode to play with an online friend, because your participating cooperatively or competitively in actual missions from the Campaign.

This is honestly the funnest game mode in the entire game, and wish that this would be placed in games with epic Campaigns such as Modern Warfare 2, but unfortunately, it was for some odd reason discontinued.

I feel as if Call of Duty: World at War won't be the last World War II made by Call of Duty. The series originated with this war, and I'm sure one of these days, another game similar to this will be released, and even be better.

World at War is a great game, but it had potential to be better. It's not amazing, but it's worth the $20 to check it out and play the epic Campaign.

-William

Blog Post: It's good

It's good and that is all. That said, this game is not as good as Modern Warfare. The campaign has some awesome missions, (storming the Riechstag-awesome and surprisingly historically accurate) but they are not connected very well. All they do is flash up some maps and troop movements too fast for me to read. The multiplayer was fun when I played it, but the real highlight for me was the bonus Nazi Zombies mode. This gametype is simple, mindless, gory fun. Great to play with a few friends (and a couple six packs of beer)

Forum Post: nazi zombies

nazi zombies is a mini-game on the following games, Modern warfare, World at war,Modern warfare 2, and black ops. This time it's Call of Duty: World at War, which returns the franchise to its WWII roots after the ground breaking success of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. While CoD:WaW isn't as good as that instant classic, it is a great WWII shooter and a lot of fun to play with a friend.

The story follows two main plotlines and switches back and forth between them. The first is that of one Private Miller, a marine who is fighting in the Pacific theater towards the end of the war. The Japanese are dug in all over the islands of the South Pacific, and the Marines have been sent to root them out. As the game begins you take control of a captured and beaten Private Miller. From his perspective you watch as another prisoner is brutally murdered. But then Corporal Roebuck (well voiced by Keifer Sutherland) rescues you. Fighting along side Jack Bauer... I mean Cpl. Roebuck, you escape to battle another day.

Unfortunately, that next fight is the pivotal Battle of Peleliu. Facing endless banzai charges, spider holes, and tunnels full of Japanese troops is intense and nerve-wracking! In reality, the fierce battle for that small speck of land lasted nearly two months and cost 6500 Americans soldiers their lives, and twice as many Japanese. It's widely regarded as one of the toughest and most bitterly fought battles in the whole of WWII.

Along a similar vein, the second story to CoD:WaW, follows another Private, this time in the Russian army. His name is Petrenko, and he is fighting tooth and nail against the Nazis during the horrendous Battle for Stalingrad. Our young soldier joins up with Viktor Reznov (voiced by the incomparable Gary Oldman) to attempt an assassination of a German general (the games obligatory CoD sniper mission). Several years down the road, an unlikely reunion of Petrenko and Reznov occurs and together you push the Germans back all the way to Berlin, eventually assualting the Reichstag itself.

Like the real life Battle of Peleliu, the defense of Stalingrad and the subsequent march into Germany was a terrible time. Treyarch have done well in capturing the hopeless desperation of these defining moments of WWII, but they don't pull any punches. Be forewarned, this is a graphic, violent game... that is driven home all the more forcefully by the fact that it is based on real events.

The gameplay is standard FPS, although you might find yourself struggling early on on with the period specific weapons. They don't hold nearly as many rounds as we have become used to in modern military shooters. Don't worry, I dive for the nearest sub-machine gun too! The controls are as tight and responsive as we have come to expect from the CoD series.

As for the game design, your typical CoD standby's like sniper missions and a brief piloting section are all present and accounted for. They don't compare to the high water mark set by CoD4:MW, and as a result feel tacked on. As for the "regular" levels, they are also pretty standard fare: overwhelming odds and lots and lots of dead bodies. The levels are designed to have a lot more open spaces, so you can try different routes. But it seems like for everything CoD:WaW does right, it still suffers for the same maladies that plague it's cousins. Poor missions objectives have you killing most of the Nazis in Germany before you finally realize that you need to be standing ten feet to your left to keep them from continually respawning.

The sections where you play as the marine against the Japanese are particularly frustrating in this regard. It seems like you never get the chance to strategically move up the battlefield before the next charge comes. As a result you end up charging blindly ahead, hoping to survive long enough that if you die in a hail of bullets you'll at least start further up the hill. It can get very frustrating, especially on the harder difficulty levels.

The graphics in CoD:WaW are pretty good, as the environments and animations are well done. I did suffer some lag issues, even in the single player campaign. The sound is good as well, with the aforementioned big Hollywood names providing the voices being the main highlight, but the sound effects and period specific weapons make it all the more real and intense.

But probably my favorite part of of CoD:WaW is the infamous 'Nazis Zombies' level that you unlock after finishing the campaign. Shamelessly piggy-backing on the Zombie renaissance that has gripped gamers and movie goers alike in the last 10 years or so, you find yourself in a dilapidated house armed with only a pistol. Slowly materializing out of the mists come the walking dead (that hasn't been copyrighted has it?), slowly shambling up to the windows, they tear at the slats to get inside. But they aren't just your normal run of the mill zombies, these are Nazi zombies... which is somehow worse! Shoot them quickly, and constantly move to check the other windows! When you complete a 'Level/Round' you have a brief respite to rebuild the fortifications or buy new weapons from the points you have accrued. Each weapon is crudely stenciled on the wall, you can take your pick. You can also spend your points to unlock new portions of the house, which will also open up more weapon choices.

But here's the rub: as the next round begins, you'll notice that the zombies are shambling just a bit faster this time. Take care of those brain-eaters and the next round they will again be faster, and the one after that faster still. And they will keep coming, breaking through walls and climbing through windows... and then it dawns on you, the awful truth: there is no escape, no way to win! The goal is to simply survive as long as you can, but the unfortunate end is unavoidable.

I have to tell you, this mode is an absolute blast, especially if you can share the horror with a friend. I've spent many late night drunken hours shouting at the TV with a friend beside me on the couch. I'm sure my neighbors have heard us: "Check that window!" or "Crap, they've broken through!" or the classic "HELP! I'm cornered!" As you get through the rounds and the zombies come faster and faster it gets very intense. I think that the highest we got was level 12 or so, and by that point the undead bastards were practically sprinting at us. I want to play this online where you can have up to four players defending the house at once!

It can be said that if you've played one WWII shooter, you've played them all. While I've certainly killed enough imaginary Nazis over the years, I've never played a WWII game that is as gritty and intense as Call of Duty: World at War. From the endless waves of Japanese banzai charges that the marines faced in the South Pacific to the hell on earth that was the siege of Stalingrad and subsequent push back into Germany by the Russian army, everything in CoD:WaW is all so shockingly... real. Well, real-ish... but that doesn't change the fact that the horrors of WWII have never been captured so vividly.

Cheers,

Si

Score = 8.25 / 10

P.S. On round 2 buy the Geweher from the wall and shoot the zombies in the head. Make sure to aim for head-shots because it gives more points. Sometimes they will continue walking, headless, so knife them to instant kill and save bullets. In round 3 shoot them twice then knife, again for maximum points. On round 4 you should have enough points to open the two doors and get the trench gun and go up the stairs. If you open the other two doors, get the Thompson instead. When in the second big courtyard/room, the one where the random box originally spawns, turn on the power and then stay here until you have speedy cola, a heavy machine gun or other good gun, (ray gun, MG42, Browning, PPsh, etc.) and Juggernog. Juggernog is essential to survival, especially if you are playing solo. Open the door behind you, the one that leads to the bowie knife and the 3rd teleporter. Camp here until you have about 7000 points, and then get a crawler. You can do this either with the ray gun or by timing grenades/molotovs so that you blast of the zombie's legs, but don't kill them. While the crawler prevents the next round from starting, link all the teleporters and upgrade your best gun at the pack a punch. (if you upgrade a gun found on the wall, i.e. a Thompson or a trench gun, you can buy upgraded ammo from that same spot.) Camp out on the balcony/catwalk in the teleporter 3 room. If you really need ammo and have a lot of points make a crawler or hold a zombie at the window. Go to the box repeatedly and take the gun even if it's bad you'll eventually have your gun again or something better. Another way to get ammo is from Max Ammo power-ups that drop, or, on earlier rounds, (usually under 14) whenever you teleport you might get a max ammo drop. If you get a teadybear look up at the blue light that comes from the box to find it. Remember, don't get tunnel vision. The fastest way to die in Nazi Zombies is to be surrounded or to have a lone zombie or even a crawler sneak up behind you. Be careful, don't underestimate the zombies, and be very careful with your resources. If you see a max ammo, make sure that everyone is reloaded before you get it. Don't upgrade a a gun until it is low on ammo, because upgrading re-fills your gun's ammo. Good luck.

Wiki Page: Nazi Zombies: Pack-A-Punch Combos

With the new COD coming up and a new Nazi Zombies (or will it be Commie zombies?) i thought it might be good to put a guide up for the old one, just so you could start warming up.

So Der Riese is basically the best map in the group (so far) simply by means of having the pack a punch machine in it.

Now what combo really works for you really depends on your play style but here are some of the basic combos that always seem to work

The Sniper:

Penetrator (PTRS) , Gut Shot (trench gun) , bouncing betties, and all perks.

It allows you to defend your spot from sneaky zombies, while simultaneously being able to kill up close or from a distance

The Skirmisher:

The Widow Maker (BAR), M1000 w/ Imploder (M1 w/ launcher) Monkeys, and all perks except 2x tap.

Allows decent zombie killing if you're good at headshots, also allows Group kills with the launcher, and when things get a bit cramped monkeys always help, no 2x tap simply because automatics run out too fast with it

The Gaurdian:

Barracuda FU-A11 (mg42) B115 Accelerator (browning 1919) any special grenades you want, all perks except 2x tap.

One of my personal favorite combos, with this combo you can clear lines of zombies at almost any level. Suggested that you get speed cola first as the two MG's are notorious for slow reloads, also be warned that both guns do cause slower movement. so running away from zombies will become a challenge. also suggest using the mg42 before the browning, as the mg has a quicker reload, but the browning is much more powerful.

The Fancy Man:

Wunderwaffe DG3 JZ (if you can't figure it out you fail), Porter's Ray Gun x2 (see first set of parenthesis) Monkey Bomb, all perks (2x tap optional)

This is probably the hardest class to get as only one wonderwaffe is allowed on the map at any time, however once upgraded this becomes a very good backup class for groups. the wunderwaffe is as most of us know capable of clearing tons of zombies at higher levels (even when not upgraded) , the ray gun can compete with both of the Mg's allowing this person to hold the line. Added bonus if you have the ray gun it becomes your last stand weapon instead of the colt. :D And if your wondering about the class's name well i thought it would be funny for a guy that has such fancy weapons.

The Demo Expert:

Longinus (panzerschreck), M1000 w/ Imploder OR C-3000 b1atch35 (colt m1911) monkeybombs, all perks

This one is a bit tricker as the secondary weapon is optional, also as the levels get higher it gets harder to use as the zombies get so numerous that reloading may become very hard to achieve. so speed cola is suggested. However this combo is capable of clearing whole groups in a heart beat. Suggested use: throw a monkey and start lighting up the group.

The PETA Hater

Gut Shot, .357 Plus 1 K1L-u (.357) OR 24 Bore Long Range (double barrel shotgun) grenades optional, all perks.

I know the name probably hooked you and this may seem like an odd combo, both can be explained quite easily by the fact that this combo absolutely DESTROYS hellhounds. If you do it right they should never even touch you. Added Bonus: like the ray gun the .357 replaces the colt in last stand

That's it for this guide folks see you after black ops comes out.

Wiki Page: The Greatest Combonations Ever

Beggining with my personal favorite combo: the Sniper Infantry, combining the Mosin Nagant with the Tompson Sub-Machine Gun. This makes for a good balance between Long, medium, and short range power. Everybody knows the Tompson will beat the 1911 in a match any day because the 1911 shoots three rounds a second (fastest) while the Tompson shoots three times as fast as that and they both shoot a .45 Automatic Colt Pistol. But the Colt M1911 is a very good sidearm. See, this combination is optimal for hybrid players that can stay back and snipe and get up close and personal.

Reconossins: Combining the MP40 with the Winchester M1887 Trench Gun and the Walther has been battle proven against no0bs and the higher level players. WIth the gernades, gas, and gas mask it could be good for any player for any level.

Vanguard: Using the M1 Garand w/gernade launcher and the launcher provides excellent booms for the bomb guys on XBox LIVE or Playstation Network. It has been considered no0bish in the past but any people who believe that it is too no0b just remember that both the G-Launcher and the Rocket Launcher have low ammo count but for any body who does like this combonation will know that the M1 Garand provides excellent killing power.

Postman: Using the Browning LMG and the M4 Carbine will prove useful in the right hands because you must combine a balanced use of ammo between the .50 cal. bullets and the 30-30 semi-auto. Using these guns right will get anybody dead within a second, and any Juggernaut no0bs dead within two seconds.

Wiki Page: Call of Duty: World at War Guides

Nazi Zombie: Nacht der Unton Walkthrough

Nazi Zombie Tips and Strategies
Nacht der Unton
Weapons: May pick anything except in the main room (unless it makes things easier in Round 1-4). Best classes are: #1.Double Barrel Shot Gun & BAR. #2.Thompson & M1897 Trench Gun. If you can, #3.Ray Gun & M1 Carbine. Or #4.Flame Thrower & Sawed-Off Double Barrel Shot Gun w/grip. Or even #5. 357 Magnum & BAR. Now #3, #4, & #5 are partly from the random weapon cache. If you die, you still have your points, your just reduced back to a pistol (unless it’s one player).
Money: Shooting gets you $100. Knifing gets you $130. But don’t waste your time knifing. Rebuilding Barriers gives you $10. Opening new areas is $1000. The M1 Carbine is $600. The Kar98k is $200 (bad weapon). The Sawed-Off DBSG w/grip is $1200, like the DBSG. The BAR is $1800. The Thompson is $1600.The M1897 Trench Gun is $1500. Grenade ammo is $200 (but each round you get two more). Opening the cabinet is $1500 and holds a Scoped Kar98k (not worth it). Random Weapon is $950 (worth it for Ray Gun or Flame Thrower).
Rounds: If you don’t buy the M1 Carbine, you should be able to go into some other place by round three. About round six, the zombies start to charge. After round five, getting a Ray Gun should be easy. In round 5-6 zombies should be coming through the wall in the basement.
Strategies: Never look in the same window. The most areas you should open is two. Rebuild every single barricade (even the wall) when your in the help room. Main Room or Upstairs, only one. Look behind you every few seconds. Revive your buddy any time you can. Switch to machine gun during insta-kill. Reload any time you can. Check for Random Weapon after every round (when past 5th round). Rebuild barricade after every round. When throwing a grenade LOOK FOR CRWLERS, they can survive a grenade. Never let your guard down with the headless walkers, they can still hit you. Use dead bodies for fire to block the zombies (if you have the Flame Thrower). With a shotgun, wait a few seconds for zombies to get in a line, then fire. Also, try splitting up, you two share half instead of all of them coming to you. Or the tag team, while one reloads the other shoots, then switch. Don’t forget your grenades.
Places: The best places to go to are the help room, upstairs in the back, or through upstairs and down into the help room. And even through the help room up to the Grenade Ammo.

4 Ray Gun's on Little Resistance Easter Egg

After crashing on the beach, radio in a rocket strike on the Japanese defenses. Once the beach is clear run to the right side of the beach. You will notice a few craters, there are the triggers for the Easter Egg. To unlock it you will have to walk through 4 craters. First walk through the large crater that is full of water, then turn left and walk through the small crater that is full of water, turn left again and walk through the small dry crater, then finally turn left and walk into and stand in the huge crater full of water. Wait about 10 seconds and a weird voice will start talking, and your screen will start shaking. Then 4 statues will come up through the ground. Each statue will be holding a ray gun.

Call of Duty: World at War - level guide
(shoot 3 times with Carbine, then knife / shoot 1 time with Kar98, then knife)this only works at about round 2 or 3-4 or 5.

how to keep the zombies outside

Entry Location:
any zombie map

let a zombie nearly tear down the barrier. then when he is exactly about to take down the last board on the barrier, repair it. he will think he's inside, start walking against the wall and hitting while facing your direction. don't get too close or the zombie will be able to hit you.

easy kills with flamethrower on Nacht der Untoten

Entry Location:
any room in the building

this only works on co-op in Nacht der Untoten. first, have at least one person have a flamethrower. two is better. make one person crawl into a corner, then have the other person jump onto his back. make the other person crawling stand up and you should be inside of each other which makes you invincible. sometimes somehow you get hit. let the zombies in. if the zombies get close to you, if they're close enough, they'll start to walk inside of you. then, have the person or people with flamethrowers kill the zombies. it is better than a gun because it could kill the swarm of zombies all at once unless you're on about round 9 or above. you can move while inside of each other, you just have to move in the exact same direction at just about the exact same speed or you will come out of each other.

Semper Fi Sniper

In the mission Semper Fi when you finish the first fight and you walk along the boardwalk, you see a man with a pistol shoot a japanese soldier. In that room on a shelf next to a Thompson is a Scoped Arisaka, which is a sniper rifle. Hope this helps!

Death Cards (alternate guide)

CALL of DUTY
World at war
Death card guide
By Dylan AKA Dylp (Ps3 online name)
You can contact me at my profile
1) Semper fi- (8 of hearts) - In the beginning of this level after being rescued and you are ready for some payback head for the first hut on your right. Reznov, move about one meter back, wait until the one standing lines his hip up with the one crouching, as soon as this happens SHOOT. Then look near the tank there should be a guard and a dog, shoot the guard when he is still, then shoot the dog as soon as you get a clear shot, if you can't wait until it is attacking you then shoot it. You should then have the achievement.

Multiplayer Sniper Spots

Here are the good spots to control in each online map (remember to protect yourself with bouncing bettys/satchel charges!!!)

Outskirts
-Once inside the church tower, look through the circular window. There is a white building with a small balcony in the distance.

Airfield
-In the middle of the map, there is a 2-story concrete building. Make sure to place satchels or bouncing bettys. There is also a large white estate with a ladder and staircase in front of it...

Upheaval
-Towards the top of the map, there is building with two windows that overlook the whole area. Warning: people will try to get you...

Makin
-Go to the circular building and look through the stair entrance. There should be a hut with two rectangular windows overlooking the sandy area. Also, there is a tall building on the water with windows overlooking the whole map.

Hangar
-On the second floor of the hangar, there is a small room. From the outside, you get to it by climbing up the rubble pile on the side of the building.

Dome
-There is a platform with a ladder on the side of the building. To get to this platform, you can either climb the ladder or go up the stairs inside. This spot connects to a ledge inside the building.

Castle
-There are many good spots on this map. The first is a small room overlooking the garden and the front staircase. To get to this room, either climb the ladder or go up the stairs. The second spot is a small room that has a clear sight into the room mentioned above. To get to this room, go to the bottom of the map and climb up the staircase. You should be on a wooden porch that connects to the gardens. Just turn left and you will be in the room.

Cliffs
-There are two concrete bunkers in this map...go to the one on the edge of the cliff. From this room, you can snipe people as they run by and shoot people trying the get in from behind.

Roundhouse
-This map is probably the worst game map. There is a platform/hallway that goes over the middle of the map. To get to it, go behind the trashed locomotives. Climb up the staircase and turn left at the round platform. You should have a good view of the whole roundhouse in the middle of the map.

Downfall
-There is a bunker/cave in the upper left corner of the map (second row of buildings).
water cooler
greased barrings
ordnance training
leadfoot
coaxial machine gun

make zombies pause for a couple seconds

the room you start in on Nacht der Untoten

when you first start Nazi zombies, turn around. you'll see a pillar that has a bunch of concrete knocked out of it and about 3, thin and black metal poles instead of the concrete. run, jump and crouch into the part with the knocked out concrete. then, have another player (if you on co-op) stay near you but not too far out. to test this glitch, let the zombies inside. they should pause about 3 times walking towards you. if you have an upgraded 360 (for example, one with a hard drive), there is an invisible line a little in front of the first row of pillars that are in front of you. they will start pushing against that line as if there's a force field there. they'll also try to "hit" the force field. then, you can shoot them, but they can't hit you.

explore the land off the map of castle

the map of castle on versus

do the first part of the "under the map of castle" glitch where you run against the white wall. once underground, head towards the brown building. then, once extremely close to the brown building underground, turn right. then turn backwards after about 4 or 5 seconds to see that you will have walked through a wall. then, you can just keep wandering around the area. while off the map. certain areas off the map you might touch will immediately kill you. be careful. you'll probably notice where a death barrier thing is.

Fall through the Castle floor

castle on versus

first go towards the brown building from the front instead of the sides and back. once you get towards the stairs that lead a little upwards to the brown building, start running against the white wall. when you get towards one end, turn around and walk against the wall towards the other end while going forward. keep doing this and you will eventually end up inside the white wall. you must move very slowly in the wall walk towards the stairs while still in the wall. then, turn left until you're facing your back to the brown building. then move backwards slowly. you should have fallen under the map. then, you can see other players walking above you. you can shoot them through the ground without them knowing where you are. in certain areas you can throw grenades through the ground, too. if they know where you are, they can shoot through the ground and maybe kill you. normally that can't happen. if you can see a player but on a floor above the ground, you can't shoot them.

how to make zombies stop moving and stay outside

Nacht der Untoten (nazi zombies)

for this glitch, you need a Thompson and a Double-barrel shotgun. make sure that there is a zombie coming from the back of the room with the door that says "help", make sure it turns right to head towards the one back barrier in the room you start in, and make sure it's the last one. then, when you can see it through the other barrier closer to the mystery box (random weapon box), aim your shotgun at it. it should stop moving. then it will proceed to that one barrier. this is another way to make it walk against the wall and hit while facing your direction. eventually, the zombie will all of a sudden die. this is a good way to be able to prepare for the next round instead of having to dodge a crawling zombie.

120 shotgun shells on nazi zombies

any zombie map

in Nacht der Untoten, this glitch is the easiest to get than the other zombie maps. get a double-barrel shotgun and a trench gun. you will find out that instead of having 60 bullets for each gun, you have 120 for each gun. it kind of makes sense because both shotguns take the same type of shells.

how dogs cant get you but you can get them on Castle

the map of Castle on versus

First, somebody has to get dogs. then other person has to go to the garden. the other person has to go onto platform with stairs and another platform on it-you must sit on the bottom platform and on the left side of the stairs. sit near the corner but not close to the corner or the stairs, crouch, and then let the dogs come. instead of the dogs trying to attack you, they will go up the stairs and just sit and bark & growl at you. this is a good way to be safe from the dogs. to use up no ammo, just let them sit and bark until they go away.

Online Castle Glitch

Castle level

Go straight to the wall by Target A (search and destroy mode) then find the blood stain, sprint into and out of that corner repeatedly until you fall through then duck down crawl through the gap and your under the level from here you can kill people but they cant get you - be warned you cant throw grenades through to the level. Also from there if you want to get out of the whole level instead of under it just walk backwards towards the wall on your right you will pass through but don't go too far or you die, from here you can see through nearly all walls and kill people without being spotted.

Blog Post: Call of Duty World at War My Review

First level, BOOM!!!! I could tell this was going to be great. They have fast paced action style that started at the very beginning to the last second. Stealth to full out war. A ginormous collection of weapons and grenades. A bit gory and language so don't have max volume on. Such an amazing game is was worth my money.

Wiki Page: Call of Duty: World at War Guides

Forum Post: Nazi Zombies

Question!

Are they Zombie Nazis, or Nazi Zombies? Well for one you can play co op without being online. The game starts out with you being a pow -prisoner of war. Then you move on and it gets better. Overall it's a must buy if youre a fan of the series. And apart from the missions after the game you can play nazi zombies.

Blog Post: not bad

not that bad of a game I mean the online can be a bit better but the story mode was PERFECT! also a touch of nazi zombies doesn't hurt.

Blog Post: Call of Duty WAW

This call of duty is my favorite because not only is it fun i think it captures the war perfectly. Nothing was left out in this one. In previous games it was all about the nazis but now they brought the japanese into it. I recomand to activision in a future game if you ever make another CoD of WW2 to put in the italalians too. but so you guys dont loose sales you should brake out a differant war in future games people are getn burned out on WW2 so im excited for the next Cod :3, also i loved nazi zombies that was really cool i think activision shud bring them back in a future game but of the enemy of the war in that paticular game, but this call of duty was revolutionary

Wiki Page: A guide to Nacht Der Untoten the first WaW zombie map.

I like to play this level alone and sometimes with my friends because it is much smaller than the other ones.So I'm putting a small guide to help others.

If you are playing by yourself I find it best to always let the zombies get right up to the window.Shoot them four times, and then one stab. This will be getting you points for the shots and points for the knife kill which is more than a normal kill.Once you have enough money the best gun to get now is the Carbine because it shoots much faster than the Kar98k and that helps if you get in trouble. The first thing I open is the help or hell door as some call it.I get that open around level four. Then as soon as i have enough money the help room stairs are my next objective. Then, I buy a shotgun by the closet with the kar98k snipers in it.Finally i get into the corner next to the stairs i haven't opened by the grenades.I try to make crawlers by throwing grenades at zombie legs. If you leave them alive at the end of a level the level won't end until thet die.Leave crawlers alive to acces the mystery box ,and just so you know I hav noticed you are more likely to get a ray gun in solo zombies.

      2(+) players

If you have 2 or more players sometimes dividing the windows up is the best way to go.Gun choices doesn't matter much since if you go down you have some backup.I always try to get my teamates to not open the help door ,but sometimes a teamate thinks thats a bad idea ect.(why I usually play with friends).Anyway,I go up the first stairs an then down the stairs into the help room. One person should gaurd the stairs and one on the windows and if yo have 3 players 2 stairs at first then depending who is having the most trouble the 3rd person should help them.4 players should hae 2 stairs when 1 player reloads the other shoots and 2 windows.Players with better guns should get the stairs.

    Option2

Another good tactic is to open the help door and go up those stairs and get in the corner I talked about in the first one by the grenades have two players stand in the back corner and if two players happen to have a heavy mg the should crouch in the front.Note:If you have the ray gun sit in front because if someone stands up and you shoot you die.

                           Hope this helps! =)
