When you bought Modern Warfare 2, did you expect to destroy online? Did you join a match with the mentality of "You newbs are going down" only to find you are the lowest rank by 30 levels? Did you have a 1/10 kdr your first match? I know I did. If you fit these criteria, then this is the guide for you. I will now proceed to tell you how not to suck with 5 easy tips:

Tip 1: Offline is there for a reason. Play split screen to get a feel for controls and create classes right for you (WITHOUT AKIMBO!).

Tip 2: Start in Free for All. Get good without people backing you up.

Tip 3: If you think you are a good sniper, you aren't. If you spend half the time getting shot running to that perfect spot but then get a running headshot, you aren't cool. Use a different weapon.

Tip 4: Silence is deadly! Crouch and use a silencer (but make sure you have stopping power). People will not notice you as easily and you will get kills.

Tip 5: Perks Perks Perks! They will help, but experiment with different combinations to determine which are the right 3 for you.
