Modern Warfare 2 is a seriously addicting game to play online, espicially if your like me and like teaming up with some of your friends and playing through the entire night but the online multiplayer is by far and away the best part of this game. First lets start with the single player, sure it has a good story and great graphics but the fact that it's only about 4 hours long, even for a casual gamer, dwindles the experience immensely for me, and compared to other games single player it is basically a joke. Now yes the multiplayer, sure it's great and fun to play online with all your friends but by no means is the multiplayer without its flaws. The Lack of dedicated servers is a big one for me with the amount of dropped connections and failed host migrations is a hassle, the game does lag at times , when your playing with people you dont most players just in it for themselves and have no idea on how to work as a team and are just running and gunning without any tactical strategy whatsoever, and far my biggest gripe about this game is the amount of hacking and going on in this game! With all the infinite care package glitches and random floating in the air really makes a once playable and fun online experience not so fun to play anymore. So in all CODMW2 is a good game with a great multiplayer great graphics but a forgettable campaign and in all is a good package but it doesnt even come close to the Revolutionary Call Of Duty 4 and really just is the same games with better graphics and a few tweaks to the multiplayer.
Modern warfare 2 is one of the best games I've ever played. It's so addicting that my cousin and I played for over 19 hours straight only to take a break when it's loading the next level. When I'm in an armory i can't make up my mind which guns to get, there are so many that it's insane and it makes me so insane that I just get the most destructive, lethal, and the deadliest guns and weapons I can get my hands on. If you my opinion this is one of the best games ever made besides halo.
