Launch Trailer Arrives Two Weeks Early

Last week, we shared with you a humorous advertising campaign for Call of Duty: Ghosts called "It's Call of Duty Time." That watch continues to run a bit fast, as Activision has released the launch trailer for this year's installment two weeks early.

The trailer shows some of the franchise's blockbuster moments, along with featuring Riley, the canine companion. Call of Duty: Ghosts is out on Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on November 5. It will also be available alongside the launches of both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

  • That was a pretty meh trailer. Just a whole lot o' 'splosions, and out dated looking 'splosions at that. However 'splosions are the reason people play COD, so it's a pretty good trailer in that respect.
  • im in...
  • this is the trailer everyone else got. warning, you should probably cover your left ear. trust me.
  • That new eminem song is pretty good, has the beastie boys sound/feeling to it. Also can't wait to play this and bf4, love the fps genre since the good old goldeneye/perfect dark days.

  • You know what I want to see again? That Assassin's Creed trailer.
  • Started from the bottom now we here I may not purchase ACIV, solely for this reason...
  • damn that looks good

  • that ac ad is starting to annoy the hell out of me. it's horribly repetitive and it literally plays on every single clip
  • Cannot wait for the cockbags at Activi$ion to eat their words. There's no way in hell they're going to get close to Grand Theft Auto V.
  • This trailer has peaked my interest now in Ghost. I'm actually looking forward to a COD this year since MW2!

  • Hmm... I may actually take the time to play the campaign.

  • Why does the part with the dog in the Helicopter make me think they are trying to be like Battlefield 4 but with a dog? lol Looks good, maybe I'll jump back on the wagon in a couple months after I get some craziness done in BF4. Not too bad COD, not bad at all. Only problem is, it"ll probably still have the crappy mechanics of every other COD. Oh well, here's to hoping for something, hell anything better than those whacked out hit markers. Point blank shot should kill someone quickly, not give them time to do a "run by stabbing." Just saying, a fix would be nice.
  • Seems decent enough.

  • I don't know yet. I haven't bought a COD game since Black Ops and haven't truly enjoyed one since Cod 4 and Waw. This could be the first cod game that doesn't initially sell as well as last years one. I'm hoping to see BF4 sell better. I may rent or buy it cheap as this may be one of the few launch game son next gen that can sustain enough game play to feel good about your purchase.
  • In my opinion the worst thing about the Call of Duty franchise is Eminem.
  • In 2 more weeks the next installment will be announced and 2 weeks after that it will be released.

And those textures better not look like that on next gen system.
  • Yeauh! Looks dope as always.

  • an't wait to get this for the PlayStation 4.

  • Half the time when I saw a vehicle I was thinking of Battlefield. Also i am pretty sure IGN uses "breathtaking" in like half their reviews.
  • What is it with Call of Duty and Eminem? It seems almost like self-parody at this point, or another tradition.
