The lights are on
Last month, we had our first chance to go hands-on with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer. Sledgehammer Games is making fundamental changes to how movement works in the game, with boost jumping, sliding, and slamming.
In a new video, you can get a look at how those movements work in combat. While they certainly change the way you’ll approach Call of Duty multiplayer, at its core, it doesn’t feel completely alien.
For more on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, check out our breakdown of the multiplayer, a conversation between two editors just after playing it, and our full month of coverage from June 2014. The game will be out on November 4 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Call of Duty is going hard this fall. It's definitely going to be another great gaming fall. Boost Dodge is my favorite new ability in the video. I always lose (and die) in a corridor shoot out.
This COD looks a lot different than previous CODs, which is why I'm going to get it. These Exo suits look to add some interesting gun fights in multiplayer. Looking forward to trying out Sledgehammers attempt at a COD game.
Uplink! I really want to play that game mode!
As a long time CoD player since the first, it is great to see the multiplayer once again change in a big way.
The last one I played through was Black Ops 2 and the pick 10 system was personally one of the best systems. I am glad sledgehammer looked at what worked and adopted it in their own way.
The intensity of this one;s multiplayer seems to be an entirely new level which is what definitely excites me the most.

Can't wait to get my Atlus Pro edition in Nov
well I know what I'm not getting
I noticed how they took the Ricochet mode from Halo 4, and even allow you to toss the ball at people, just like in Halo 4. Hmm, I wonder where they might have gotten those ideas from.
It's actually not a bad idea to take other people's game modes though. Halo is pretty much the only game series that has such creative concepts implemented into competitive multiplayer, while other developers will only go as far as the realm of capture the flag.
More developers need to think of cool stuff like Headhunter and Oddball, it makes the multiplayer so much more fun.
Looks pretty cool.
Halo and TitanFall... got it. All done rehashing the same game for 7 years they gotta make someone else's game. Not surprised.
I am strongly hoping it delivers as I'm actually excited for it and plan to get it myself.
Does look interesting, at least worth giving it a try. Can't be worse than Ghosts
Ok this looks really great. I'm getting excited for COD once more.
Looks cool. I don't usually play COD but I might consider getting this after I get bored with Destiny.
Okay I'm gonna eat my words, this game actually looks fun. Don't let me down sledgehammer.
