I was looking forward to this game well before launch. I'm glad I held off. GS is selling it for 35, 40 bucks. When it hits 25-30, I'll get my copy then. Especially since it's one of those elements regarding Jack Black that is ridiculous in a funny way yet so enjoyable to experience (like Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny).

He doesn't look like Axel Steel at all! Believe me, I worked on Band Hero, and Eddie doesn't look a THING like Axel. He actually started out looking like Lemmy, but Tim Schaefer said he started to want to him to look like Jack Black, and when they got him to do the voice, it just kind of fell into place. It's not about originality, it's about making the character as Metal and as believable as possible.

What if you dislike the fact that they simply seemed to take the Character model for they guy from Guitar Hero in order to creat Jack Black's protagonist in this game? If I were Jack Black I'd be super pissed that a little more time could not be put toward making the main character the slightest bit original.
