The lights are on
Square Enix's Bravely Default was first confirmed for a North American release back in April. The title will be released here in 2014, but today sees the first English trailer for the RPG.
Bravely Default follows the story of Tiz, and we'll learn more about him and his world in the next trailer. For now, we get to see some of the NPCs, overworld traversal, and turn-based combat.

How about no voices. The game looks really great besides the loud voice acting than again it might sound different coming from a ds. I really love the classic rpg elements cant wait to see more from this game.
I'm super excited for the game but that voice acting was pretty rough.
Always with the magic crystals and the high pitched 8yr old-sounding girls. Just had to put in some fanservice in the beginning of the trailer huh?
Wow!! It looks like it maybe might not suck .... hahahahaha, riiight.
Sorry but I fell asleep watching this trailer. Just woke up.
Gah... That English voice acting makes me want to poke out my eardrums...
This looks really, really promising, though. And I'm also excited that REVO did all of the music for it.
listened to some music for this game and it sounds AMAZING. getting it .
Well, time to buy a 3DS
I've been waiting for this for a while, and will continue to I suppose, since it won't be out until next year. Why doesn't Nintendo hurry up and get Dragon Quest X out over here--without monthly charges?
Then again, for as interested as I am in the game, the 3DS is now crowded with JRPG's. It could use more Western RPG's, or, better yet, ACTION GAMES! I want ACTION! CONTRA 5. NOW.
It looks great...but I'm not really liking the English voices. I'm glad they included the Japanese!
