The lights are on
Square Enix's Bravely Default was first confirmed for a North American release back in April. The title will be released here in 2014, but today sees the first English trailer for the RPG.
Bravely Default follows the story of Tiz, and we'll learn more about him and his world in the next trailer. For now, we get to see some of the NPCs, overworld traversal, and turn-based combat.

This game looks absolutely amazing! I don't think I'm a fan of the English voices though. Seems very hit or miss. Luckily we have the option of using the Japanese audio.
Seems like I'll be keeping the voices off.
Horrible English Voice Acting Galore!
The art for the game is amazing, too bad the actual game doesn't look like it....
Looks cute... but those voice actors sound like they're completely disconnected from the game. Which will make this terrible if they don't fix it.
Eh, I've heard worse voice acting. I'll probably be keeping an eye on this.
Reminds me of Final Fantasy, right down to the stupid character models.
Hmm. Doesn't look bad at all. I've definitely heard worse voice-acting...
Absolutely loved the trailer and gameplay shown, but the voice actors haven't warmed up to me yet.
good thing my interest in this game has nothing to do with the voice acting. lol. It was pretty bad.
Looks like the DS version of FF III.
I'm grabbing this game on day one!
I hope they have the option to just turn off the voices, because this game looks pretty incredible otherwise.
