I was playing borderlands Multiplayer with my Friends and later that day I came back on to play and they wernt online so I played single player, And it wasnt as satisfying on multiplayer.

playing co-op with a friend was more fun for me but when people take your equipment, find an arena and kill them, single player is not as fun because you have no one to talk to.
