New BioShock Infinite 'Beast of America' Trailer

Update: Irrational Games has just officially released the new trailer for BioShock Infinite entitled Beast of America.

You can also enjoy a few new screens for the game as well.

BioShock Infinite comes out for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on February 26.

Original Story: Bioshock Infinite has been operating under the radar lately, politely allowing the big holiday games to take their spotlights. This trailer reminds us, however, that February 26 is painfully far away.

At the end of the trailer, we are reminded that it was made entirely using in-engine footage. It also has a nice little call-out to the beginning of the original Bioshock. Unsurprisingly, it looks like the two games may share similar introductions.

Bioshock Infinite releases February 26 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, which is approximately 3,027 more hours away than I would like it to be.

  • I kind of miss the version with the mustache and bowler but ah well, he still looks pretty cool.

  • "politely allowing the big holiday games to take their spotlights"

    I liked that!

  • That was really impressive. Excited for this game now. I was before, but seeing it a little more in action is really nice. Good music choice.

  • I can't wait for this game!  It looks amazing.

  • I thought I wasn't gonna preorder this, i was wrong.

  • I think the delay is going to be worth it. At least thats what I keep telling myself while I anxiously wait...

  • That whole "This trailer is made from entirely in-game footage" line they put at the end of a lot of trailers is just a marketing gimmick. It's like a trailer for food saying "All Natural" when in fact being all natural doesn't mean a damn thing, its all a marketing gimmick. Telling us the trailer uses in-game footage makes us believe the trailer is special, and that the graphics are great, even if they aren't. It makes us believe that what we just saw was unique, when in fact it isn't. A lot of trailers have been using this gimmick as of late. And it works, as even Mr. Hilliard got duped into believing it. Now this isn't to say that the game isn't great, because I am sure it is and just like everyone else I'll be there day one picking up my copy. All I'm saying is don't fall for that marketing tactic anymore. They are just trying to plant a seed in your brain, it means absolutely nothing. 99% of gameplay trailers use in-game footage. It means nothing.
  • This trailer didn't excite me any more than any other trailer has. I'm excited for this game, I really am, but this trailer doesn't excite me any different than the past trailers I've seen. This game will have to wait from all the other great games coming out before Bioshock Infinite.

  • This game is going to be awesome No doubt about it

  • Wow, with the immense amount of shooter's out there, this is finally something I'm incredibly excited for. Other than Halo 4, this will be the only other game in my Xbox 360 for a long time. This looks so amazing.

  • Mod

looks nice. still waiting to see how it does before i get excited. seeing as i played the first two for  3 hours before getting stuck.

  • Anyone know the name of that song?
  • I love how GI hasn't reported the staff drops from irrational games. Keep up that good reporting!! :) I'm saying this so sarcastically because it always seems GI favors single player walkthrough games over other games. MP games seem to take a back seat, even though I personally feel MP games have a larger audience.
  • Ack! Still to far away...

  • I have a feeling I'm going to be falling off of Columbia quite a bit.
  • so ready for this game!

  • "Beast of America"? So Hanson is in the game?
  • wow! 2-26-13. cant wait for this game! :D

  • I haven't been this excited for a single-player game since Skyrim.

  • "Beast of America"? So Hanson is in the game?
