BioShock Infinite's Elizabeth Comes To Life

Elizabeth is a key character in BioShock Infinite, one that Irrational Games' creative director Ken Levine believes the developer has to get right in order for the game to succeed. Check out this trailer for the game discussing her creation.

The latest trailer for the game talks about her genesis by the people who brought her to life, from her voice and movements to her actions in the game.

BioShock Infinite comes out in under a week (!) on March 26 for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3, so we’ll soon get to see how it all comes together.

For more on the game, take a look at the recent TV commercial.

  • this is cool but I'm still really enjoying Tomb Raider.

I know Lara Croft isn't an AI companion, but the designers did a great job making me actually care about her and feel for what she's going through. I hope Levine's team brought that same focus to Elizabeth.

  • I love how they are actually making a person than a standard follow.

  • Will this game be able to pull of the Alyx (Half Life 2) phenomenon? Signs are pointing to yes.
  • Just received my extras from Steam. Can't wait to play along with "Lizzie".

  • I can't wait for this game.

  • Someone already spoiled me the ending :/
  • I never got into the Bioshock series, though I know they're great games. However, the characters, art, and story in Infinite have really drawn me in. They seem to be promising a really fantastic experience, I'm looking forward to playing it.

  • This was very cool to watch, the time is almost upon us.

  • spring break the week after this releases...i know what i'm going to be doing :D

  • I would love to play this game, but I got my xbox taken away :(
  • Good stuff

  • My brother said to me that games are making you get more involved with the characters, and with the next consoles coming up, I think were gona get a little too close with a virtual character. But all in all, that means the game is like playing a movie, and leaves you breathless in the end.

  • cool!

  • I really don't understand why they made her character look like a friggin' barbie doll. A tiny waist and massive breasts. It's just too much. Why not base her look off the voice actress? She's beautiful, but she also looks like a human being.

  • Elizabeth may very well be the most important AI of this generation of gaming, the ladies of who Elizabeth is composed of did an incredible job giving the designers what the needed to bring her to life.

  • Can't wait to play this awesome game, been waiting too long!
  • 1 more day till the game comes out, at least i will be busy this weekend.

  • Very nice.
