35 Minutes Of Beyond: Two Souls Gameplay

Beyond: Two Souls, the upcoming game from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream, made an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend (a first for a platform-exclusive video game), and along with a new trailer, a large portion of gameplay has appeared online.

Below you will find 35 minutes of straight gameplay from Beyond: Two Souls. You'll see the digital version of Ellen Page cry, talk on the phone, and play guitar on the street with gloves on.

Quantic Dream recently sent us a blank copy of the game's script so that we could see just how long it is.

  • That was totes cray!!!

  • I'm thinking about getting a PS3 just to play this game. I know there are other great PS3 exclusives but this game just looks so damn interesting.
  • Their acting was magnificent!!
  • i need this to come out now i just want to throw my money at these people

  • WOW. Breath-taking.

  • Is there....even a freaking point to this game?
  • I know nothing of the story here, but what I enjoyed about Heavy Rain was the mystery; the fact that you could solve something interactively. From this clip, it seems Beyond will be less involved.

    Eh, still worth the money.

  • That was so boring. The only exciting part was the end when she jumps...other than that a complete bore.
  • Why don't they wait to release this on PS4 and sharpen the graphics more in the meantime? It seems to me that a game like this is all about the look of the interactive experience.
  • I wish more games where like this!!!I love you Quantic Dream, actually the only game company that don't underestimate gamers intelligence!! Can't wait for this!!!
  • The game looks great but nothing I'm excited for. It just doesn't have that "wow" factor I'm looking for in a game. I'm all for story, some of my favorite games have great stories. But I don't see this as a game that's a must have. I'll get it later down the road, but there are other games coming out that interest me more than this. I don't think this game is going to do as well as a lot of people think. I hope I'm wrong.

  • While this seems more interactive movie than game, count me in! Dug the first two games that Cage did, and this one will be no different....!

  • The visual and style are neat and all, but this game doesn't really hold my attention for very long. They might as well have made it into a feature film. That whole fight scene would've made for some pretty awesome gameplay.
  • This game looks amazing!

  • Looks very interesting. I might have to try this one out.

  • Now I'm gonna have to get a playstation just to play this -.- just shut up and take my money.

  • I wonder how well this will do at box office. Ellen Page is looking for an Academy Award. Seriously though, I get it. Its a wonderful story and I'm actually super into this and will most likely buy it, but this isnt a video game. Don't tell me that I'm a CoD fan either, because I love creative and entertaining games that aren't shoveled out to me once a year, but if thats the extent of the game play, its not a game. Sorry not sorry.
  • Looks like both Game Of The Year games will feature Ellen Page (I'm looking at you "The Last of Us" you beautiful b*st*rd). Every time someone posts, "too bad it's only on the PS3" I laugh (that should tell you something dumb a$$es!).
