35 Minutes Of Beyond: Two Souls Gameplay

Beyond: Two Souls, the upcoming game from Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream, made an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend (a first for a platform-exclusive video game), and along with a new trailer, a large portion of gameplay has appeared online.

Below you will find 35 minutes of straight gameplay from Beyond: Two Souls. You'll see the digital version of Ellen Page cry, talk on the phone, and play guitar on the street with gloves on.

Quantic Dream recently sent us a blank copy of the game's script so that we could see just how long it is.

  • L.A. Noire was actually the first game to be shown at the Tribeca Film Festival
  • Loving it.

  • Wow, I just want to see it all the way through now. Don't care if its just like lots of QTEs. It will be just like an interactive movie. There's one hell of a tale that's going to be told right there. Amazing acting. Very good presentation too. I felt very engaged while watching.
  • Looks amazing! To dark for me, but still amazing stuff.

  • wheres the gameplay?
  • this is truly spectacular material. mindblowing stuff. very intense!

  • It would be glorious if Tommy Wiseau was somehow one of the main characters in this game. I'm probably the only one that would buy it in that case, though.

  • Awesome!

  • The game is looking beyond my expectations. Graphically amazing and so emotional. Quantic Dream have my full support for making these kind of games and for daring to go where others are afraid to or simply don't have the talent. This is a day one buy for me.

  • Wait! What happens next!?
  • omg this game is awsome the last of us and beyond:two souls they are gonna be really good I can't wait for this one they are doing a great game is like a movie

  • I'm really tempted to watch this but Cage makes some of my favorite games and I'd rather just wait until I'm playing it myself.

  • Bum fights; burning buildings; birth giving; what doesn't this game have...

  • Looks interesting... Honestly, though, I never quite got these sorts of games - if I want nothing but story, I'll read a book; having to visualize a character in my head tends to invest me in the character more than pushing a few buttons, anyway.

Regardless, I'll give it a try if I have the chance.

  • Loved every second of it :)

  • Looks amazing!

  • yeah, no.
  • That was the most boring gameplay I have ever seen.
  • I really love what they have done with this game. They have added some much more to the gameplay the what they had in Heavy Rain. The story seems intresting also. I so cant wait to play this game :)
