i had practically no interest in this game, only enough to try the demo. and i was hooked. picking it up today; can't wait to give it a spin!

I have to agree with others in that this game is "catchy" in that it started to reel me in with it's style, weapons, and overall special magical moves, and that was just the demo. The fight scenes with the bosses (if that is what we can call them) seem to be intense. Looking forward to this one.

played the demo and its FREAKIN AWESOME!!!! this girl has more moves and combos that dante could only dream of. this should tide me over til god of war 3.

I played this demo the other day. I must say, the combat, while extremely avant-garde, is catchy, to say the least. The violence is outrageous, and something attracts me to Bayonetta. maybe its the obvious double-entendre in the name... Or maybe her resemblance to a sexed-up version of Sarah Palin, minus the neurotic smile and idiocy.

This is going to be a cult hit nomatter what its critics say.

Good idea in theory. I'm not sure this game is going to be what everyone thinks it is. At some point the fact that she's a dominatrix that likes talking dirty will get annoying and what are you left with? A Devil May Cry knockoff. If I want a leather clad woman giving me vajjay shots I'll head to the strip club. I'm gonna pass on this one.

Uhh ... I just finished playing through the Japanese demo of Bayonetta and I'm not quite sure exactly what I've experienced. From what I can best ascertain, I'm a Devil May Cry knock-off that looks like a manga version of Sarah Palin who is fighting angels from heaven. I'm wearing pistols for high heels and a skin-tight suit made of my own hair which I can control and turn into a fire-breathing dragon. All while collecting huge golden rings that apparently Sonic missed on his last run through this level.
