The lights are on
Most of Battlefield 4's coverage has been focused on the game's multiplayer component, but there will be a single-player, story-driven campaign in the game.
The story follows the exploits of a small squad evacuating American VIPs from Shanghai as they try to make their way home. They also adamantly refuse to leave anyone behind, which will you learn in the trailer below.
Battlefield 4 is coming to PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on October 29. Next-gen versions of Battlefield 4 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be available when the consoles launch on November 15 and 22.

That looks really good. Really, surprisingly good. I'm excited at least.
Interesting. The story sounds like it'll be a lot better. The game looks freakin great. Now it just needs to be released.
Wow, really? They made a SP side to BF4? You mean not everyone just buys it for the MP? Shocking! I really hope it's not short and barebones. It's why I got into gaming I why I may still buy a game that is MP focused as long as it's SP is good. Otherwise, I'll wait for it to hit the bargain bin.
I think Battlefield 4 just out Call of Dutied, well, Call of Duty.
This looks much more intense and surreal than any CoD story I've seen or played before.
Looks a lot better than the bf3 campaign. Hope it turns out better as well.
1:37 he killed the CoD dog. lol

Singleplayer campaign means "Oh, you don't like playing online? Well this awesome stuff we made, all the freedom and customization etc is only for people who will play with other people. Get this short linear experience showing off what you won't/can't play!"
