The lights are on
Spectator mode is back for Battlefield 4, and the developers at DICE excitedly talk about it in the game's latest blog entry.
DICE developers Daniel Matros and Dennis Brannvall discuss the usefulness of spectator mode in Battlefield 4 in the game's latest official blog entry.
The duo go over the different cameras at your disposal, the UI, and the mode's tie to competitive e-sports.
Battlefield 4 hits the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 29; PlayStation 4 on November 12; and Xbox One on November 19.

I'm glad Battlefield is adding some stuff on the side, like spectator mode. I'm all for intense competitive multiplayer, but sometimes I want to take a breather and explore the map or see how another person plays, and I'm glad I won't have to go beyond the game to watch videos, etc.
Now if only we could get this in our sports games.
This is a cool feature to have in place, I've been playing the beta & I gotta say it's awesome. PS4 day 1 shipping I'm out
Hmmm... I likey
This seems like a pretty great feature!
The MP does look pretty sweet. 'Oh no, I'm getting shot. I'll just jump out the window and parachute to a safe place.' Totally awesome.
Sounds great, it'd be cool to see a particular player's tactics or abilities if they were being a bamf lol. Might help me improve my game :3
I don't get why this is so amazing. Sure, e-sports, but it's not a 'theatre' mode when you can relive played moments and hold onto the best.
