The lights are on
At the EA booth I jumped into a 64-player conquest battle in the Siege at Shanghai map. After playing through a couple rounds and speaking with executive producer Patrick Bach, here is what I learned.

does anyone know if theres split screen multi on consoles?? would love to do some split screen action with my son. i highly doubt it but haven't read anything about this yet.
One thing I noticed in the E3 multiplayer video was they added a knife counter, just thought I'd chime that in there : ]
The second I read 64 man battles on consoles, they had my sold. It really looks like DICE is trying to vastly improve on everything that BF3 failed/disappointed at. One big thing I hope they fix are the balancing of the servers. It gets really old seeing the same side win game after game on some servers. BF3 is probably the best modern combat shooter I've played, and I can't wait to see how amazing this game is gonna play.
I'm just really excited that the Recon can carry C4 again!
This game is gonna be so sic, I'm for sure getting this for my brand new PS4.
I hope they will bring in in-depth character customization just like Rainbow Six: Vegas or (I know, I know. I'm groaning at myself for typing this) CoD: Ghosts. I like being able to personalize my soldier, spartan, etc. because then I can really get into the role as well as the game, similar to the way RPGs allow for customization so you can fit the role you want to play as. Allow for us to change up the appearance from the generic dude with a helmet, dude with a hat, dude with a t-shirt, dude with a mask. Plus, character customization adds diversity and color into the game.
coming from an active COD player, i am frickin so impressed by this game so far!! i will 100% be buying this without a doubt. just watching this gameplay footage makes me have to poop!
This game looks awesome.
Aghhh this might be the first time I directly choose BF over CoD
The live E3 demo really impressed
At first I was a little bit worried about Battlefield 4 being a Battlefield 3 map pack, but now I am excited. It doesn't really add anything significant to the already amazing battlefield 3, but it does have so many smaller improvements that it makes this a game that I will be looking forward to, can't wait for the improved destruction!
