Last Friday, Rocksteady explained how Batman: Arkham Knight’s dual play feature works conceptually. You’ll be able to switch between two heroes mid-combat, continue your combos, and execute team takedowns.

This week on the second episode of Rocksteady’s Arkham Insider, we get to see it in action. The video below depicts Batman and Nightwing on the hunt for one of Penguin’s weapon caches.

Lead AI programmer Tim Hanagan describes how dual play is layered on top of everything else that’s been in the game’s combat system. The AI is taking control of the other character, so you won’t need to juggle both at the same time.

“There’s no separate systems, all of them play together seamlessly,” Hanagan says. Batman: Arkham Knight will be out on June 23 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
