The lights are on
The game is great yes but it is NOT flawless. To claim otherwise is naive at the least and downright deceitful at the worse. Come on guys, what happened to your integrity?
"Close enough" isn't.
I personally think Arkham City deserved it's 10. Sure it has flaws, but so does, any other games that got a 10. Grand Theft Auto IV for example, got a 10 by nearly everybody, and still has it's share of glitches.
dude nothing is perfect
I would have to agree. I, personally, would give this game a 9.25. Many of the conversation/ dialogue scenes felt unrealistic, like the characters didn't act as real people would. With combat, I discovered that when an opponent runs toward you, he will attack, so I would quickly tap the counter button before the icon came up. I would not counter thus losing my combo and taking damage. It's little things like this. Go to se7ensins.com. Somewhere, there is a post about five things that Rocksteady got wrong. Couple those with some other small things, and I do still feel that Arkham City is a great game, but a 10? No. Honestly I thing AC: Brotherhood was a much better action/adventure game. Considering Arkham City received a 10, I think AC: Revelations will deserve a 10.5.
I disagree, I think it deserved that 10
Arkham City is freakin amazing and the perfect score that this game received was well earned.
I think it's almost 10 out of 10, but probably 9.75. Another thing, in 2010, they gave God of war 3 a 10 out of 10. What the heck? They really screwed up there.
It's as close to a 10 as a game could get for me but probably a 9.75 would be more accurate
