Asylum, Move Aside
on September 20, 2015 at 04:14 PM
Batman: Arkham City ditches the linearity of Arkham Asylum and instead replaces it with an amazing new open-world, Arkham City. The detailed graphics are just beautiful, and the combat is better than ever. If you want a stealth game that also adds amazing fighting gameplay and an awesome sandbox, Batman...

about 80% complete they main challenge ends and the player is stuck doing small side missions. can't repeat missions without deleting everything else gadgets and moves are awesome though
Rocksteady turns awesome into phenomenal.
on July 21, 2013 at 07:21 PM
With Arkham Asylum, Rocksteady Studios proved that it was possible to make a great superhero game. Its revolutionary stealth and combat showed that superhero games can compete with games that carried big name developers on the cover. R.S. proved its worth with Arkham Asylum, but capitalized with its...
The Best Game I'ver Ever Played, But Nothing Is Perfect.
on May 12, 2013 at 09:26 PM
I played this game's story mode 3 times (not including the bonus mode or the DLC's) and I'm still blown away by how incredible it is, I love the challenges and free-roaming Arkham City however if I had to pick something that was disappointing in the game I'd have to say it was kinda short...
The Dark Knight May Have Returned, But It Seems The Joke's On Us
on February 17, 2013 at 03:12 PM
This hurts you a lot more than it hurts me, Batbrain. You know, when I first played this game, and saw the demos, I was on board with everyone else. It looked great, it sounded great, and it seemed like we'd get a bonafide hit. Instead, what we got was a mess of questionable ideas but with enough...

Batman's finest moment
on November 05, 2012 at 02:36 AM
So, here is the game that I looked forward to the most out of all these. I LOVED Arkham Asylum. It was one of the best games of 2009 and the best super hero game ever. The key word is was. Batman Arkham City didn't just surpass my expectations, it blew them away. The game's story is one of the...
The most disappointing game of this gen. Asininely overrated, with an atrocious storyline and use of characters. Period.
on October 15, 2012 at 12:53 PM
Arkham Asylum is the undisputed greatest comic book/superhero/licensed game of all time, it's meager sequel isn't even mildly comparable overall. Batman's cape is semi dark purplish blue. He was very illegitimate in many ways anyway, but the blue cape invalidates his character more than anything...
An ambitious but disappointing sequel
on September 17, 2012 at 11:53 PM
As a sequel to Arkham Asylum, it's quite disappointing for the most part. As a game, it's pretty damn good.
The Dark Knight Rises to New Heights
on August 30, 2012 at 10:04 PM
Sequels are always an interesting challenge in gaming. They usually don't have the same spark of creativity as their predecessors, but the gameplay tends to be a lot more polished. Batman: Arkham City is definitely a game that falls under the "more polished" category. The sequel to 2009's...
Review: Batman: Arkham City
on August 15, 2012 at 04:57 PM
Batman: Arkham City is the second iteration of Rocksteady’s highly praised take on the Batman franchise. Arkham City expands on the gritty yet plainly comic book inspired tone of the first, only this time rather than escorting a criminal to the loony bin Bruce Wayne finds himself incarcerated in...

This game is better than the previous game in every way.

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The incredible game Batman: Arkham City is almost over for me. I decided to write this review now because it took me this long to get 100% of the main story and side missions completed. Though it only took me two days to complete...
Single Greatest Game of all Time...so far.
on June 28, 2012 at 12:33 PM
Let me start out by saying Batman: Arkham Asylum was one of the best games I have ever played, It not only successfully made me feel as if I was controlling the Dark Knight but had actually became him. Whether I was prowling through the halls of Arkham Mansion, preying on Joker's thugs like the witless...
on June 19, 2012 at 12:36 PM
This is truly the best game I have played. Gameplay is tight, story is deep and twisted, graphics are gorgeous, I really can't complain about anything. The only time I ever have an issue with the game is when I fail to execute on something. Really the only faults I have with this game is my lack...
Batman kick butts again in Arkham City
on April 30, 2012 at 09:13 PM
I remember when I played Arkham Asylum, I enjoyed almost everything, I don't recall saying something negative about the game. But when Arkham City was announced, I was a little sad that the game wasn't gonna be based in all Gotham, but still, when I got my hands on it, all I can say is that this...
Batman Arkham City: The Dark Knight's Finest Hour
on March 25, 2012 at 08:03 PM
Any review I write for this game probably can't be long or good enough, but Arkham City is easily the best superhero game I have played or hope to play in a while. If not for Zelda: Skyward Sword, Batman delivers the greatest game of 2011 for me. The story, characters, and gameplay all combine to...
Batman kick but
on March 23, 2012 at 03:09 PM
This game was absolutely epic. I can't describe it any other way.
Become the (K)Night - Review of Batman: Arkham City
on March 23, 2012 at 12:11 PM
Batman has long been one of the most (if not THE most) iconic superhero crime fighters in the world: a traumatized youth, a successful billionaire, a certified genius, a martial arts expert, and a noire archetype all rolled into one. The biggest tragedy surrounding Batman (aside from his parents) is...

Batman Arkham asylum was great. I couldn't wait for city. Then when I got it, it blew away all expectations I had of it. Batman Arkham city is an amazing game, and is for sure, the best superhero game ever. Graphics are just amazing. It looks way better. Cut scenes are insanely good, with ince again...
