A new animated short has been released ahead of the upcoming Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and it serves as prologue for the game's world and characters.
The short gives you a little background on protagonist Jacob Frye, his gang The Rooks, and their Robin Hood-inspired missions to defend the poor and helpless against the rich and powerful. You can check out the video below.
This isn't the first time Ubisoft has put together an animated prequel of sorts for an Assassin's Creed game. Last year's Assassin's Creed Unity received the same treatment with the help of Rob Zombie and Walking Dead artist Tony Moore. You can find out more about that animated short by heading here.
