The lights are on
A number of Assassin’s Creed fans missed out on the Vita-exclusive Liberation when it released in 2012. If you were part of that group that never got to go adventuring with Aveline, Ubisoft is releasing Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD next week for download on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC for $19.99.
To help you make up your mind whether the new visuals are worth the price, Ubisoft sent along three comparison shots that show off the visual upgrade. Take a look at the new screens, read our review of the Vita original, and then let us know whether you’ll be picking up Liberation HD in the comments below.

Bad way to compare quality by hiding half of the HD with a window of SD. A side by side comparison would've been nice.
The last picture, though. Reminds me of Doctor Who cosplay from Reign of Terror. William Hartnell looked absolutely badass in that suit.
So it went from looking worse than the first AC to looking slightly worse than Revelations?
That looks like a good leap.
and here i thought the vita was hd, false advertising from sony
I haven't played this when it was on the PS Vita, but now that there has been substantial improvements to the game this 1 I will get for sure. But what I don't like is that these improvements should have been incorporated in the beginning on the PS Vita. Because it makes it look like for the PS Vita it was a rush job to get the game out.
Too bad it's just available for download, if Ubisoft released a retail copy I'd get it for sure.
They just can't stop milking the Ass Creed franchise.
