The lights are on
A number of Assassin’s Creed fans missed out on the Vita-exclusive Liberation when it released in 2012. If you were part of that group that never got to go adventuring with Aveline, Ubisoft is releasing Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD next week for download on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC for $19.99.
To help you make up your mind whether the new visuals are worth the price, Ubisoft sent along three comparison shots that show off the visual upgrade. Take a look at the new screens, read our review of the Vita original, and then let us know whether you’ll be picking up Liberation HD in the comments below.

So it might look better than Ac 2 but worse than Revelations from what I can see.
Not only is it receiving a graphical overhaul, but they are tweaking some of the missions and gameplay mechanics, so factor that into your decision too.
Guess the only other thing to ask is how (if at all) will they implement the bonus stuff to transfer to ACIII and Vice-Versa.
Now if only we could see a AC: Bloodlines HD Remake... That game needs it... BAD!
The HD images look almost cartoon-y.
