Ubisoft And Vice Team Up To Produce Golden Age Of Pirates Documentary Series

In an effort to dispel some of the Hollywood myths proliferated about pirates, Ubisoft has teamed with Vice media to create a series of documentary shorts about pirate life, and the culture and era of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

The first of three planned shorts covers the preferred weapons of pirates, with a focus on the notorious Charles Vane. Check it out below, and watch out for some harsh language.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U on October 29. The game will come to PlayStation 4 on November 12, and PC and Xbox One on November 19.

  • ......well I guess we can deduce that watch dogs was delayed due to bad time management lol.

Edit:hmmmm this video seems to not work for me.
  • Oooooo I always wanted to see what "the scurvy" was like back in those days.
  • Ubisoft has a way of pussyfooting around history don't they? I mean these games would have more of a dramatic impact if they were a more realistic and honest portrayal of how scary and horrifying these time periods were. I understand they make these kid friendly (yeah i said it) but its one of the many many things thats held this series back.
  • I never though I'd see Shane Smith go from North Korea to Assassin's Creed.

  • Anyone got a youtube link? The video doesn't work.

Edit: Thanks, works now that you are using a youtube link instead.
  • this game better be good since you're working on shorts for pirates...no glitches or anything...and like toothdecay says, you can delay watch dogs, but make pirate videos????????????
  • Ubisoft, pirates... hmmmm!

  • Harsh language? Huh, I was expecting gentlemen pirates, lol.
