The lights are on
The latest trailer for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag takes the time to highlight the mode that always seems to take a backseat to the story campaign: multiplayer.
I've always felt that Assassin's Creed's multiplayer's fun is difficult to explain to someone without letting them play a few rounds. On paper is looks odd, maybe even boring, but in practice the multiplayer is intense fun, and radically different from the multiplayer shooter experiences most are familiar with. Hopefully Black Flag's multiplayer will be similarly enjoyable.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on October 29. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be available a few days before the next-gen console's launches on November 12 and 19 respectively.

Missing an opportunity if they don't have ship battles.
They've been highlighting the crappy multi-player too much.
It takes a back seat to the campaign because it feels clumsy and tacked on. If I had the option to buy the game without multiplayer, I would without hesitation.
never really liked the multiplay in ac. sense its such a massive open world they shouldve went a gta kinda route or atleast open world coop
Looks identical to AC3.
This looks so fun to me.
I got dibs on Barret in his pirate costume.
This reminds me that I never played multipayer in AC3. Like I literally never even accessed it and I had it for five months.
ACIV: Black Flag will be the best of the series.
wow these would all be really low scoring kills...
