The lights are on
A pirate without plunder is a sorry sight indeed. Fortunately for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag hero Edward Kenway and friends, their treasure chests aren't likely to run empty anytime soon. A new trailer shows off a major score, while introducing some of the game's key players.
The clip below shows Blackbeard, Calico Jack, Anne Bonny, and more as they do what pirates do best: carouse, scheme, and battle. All in all, it doesn't look like the worst way to live. Especially if you have access to a literal pile of gold.

I do want the game, I love the setting/time period. And I know this game has been in development for a few years now, but I think what the series REALLY needs is a breather. Let AC sit for a bit, it will breathe new life into the series.
The game looks pretty sweet. I am still waiting to see some reviews and get an idea of what it is changing and bringing to the table.
Do I have to come up with a new comment now that my first one was deleted for no reason? Fine. This game is looking better with every trailer. I really hope they can keep the October PC release date.
This was a really cool trailer and it set a great tone, but it still doesn't feel like an "assassin's" game more than a "pirate" game.
Black Flag is awesome. love that band...
these trailers are great and all, but I don't really want them to show much more, I'm already sold on the game and I don't really need to see more of them lol
I was more excited about the game after I learned you can hunt sharks and whales and dive for treasure than I was after this trailer. I always find it odd when they try and promote open world games like this with dramatic, story driven trailers.
Really looking forward to this though. Until its release I have GTA Online (really didn't enjoy the single player at all and I've officially thrown in the towel with only 35% completion) and FIFA 14 to occupy my time.
Yo-Ho Yo-ho a Pirates life for me!
Getting a bit more pumped I guess.
This looks to be the BEST game in the series.
I hope this one is better.
Enough, enough just release the game already. Is it just me or does the story line seem to be fading already?
