The lights are on
You might have seen a developer driven demo of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag during Sony's press conference. The video below is different in two significant ways.
First, it includes commentary from game director Ashraf Ismail. Second, it doesn't stutter and crash right before the end.
Take a look at how the team at Ubisoft Montréal is using next-generation power to enhance the series' stealth aspects. Additionally, the transitions from land to sea open up mission design possibilities.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag arrives on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U on October 29. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are also in the works.

I can definitely say that I'm still excited for Assassin's Creed, like every year, but still with my persistent reservations that come with every entry. With Assassin's Creed III behind us, I'm still worried about the game from a technical standpoint, looking back to its unfortunate E3 presentation freezing and the fact that this game has only been in the shop for 2 yrs. On the other hand, I'm already in love with the idea of expanded naval combat and just adore the beautiful jungles and the lively character interactions this time around. I suppose in the end I'm just glad to have Assassin's Creed's awesome open-worlds to get lost in every holiday season.
Will be picking this up within its first month or so, after no doubt waiting for the necessary patches to be offered.
oh my god.. its pretty amazing from only the demo and much more to come? wow, im sold for the amount now! be in honesty the storyline is what im after, but the extra gameplay and extra missions and everything is just to kill time wow.
I wonder if they will make a next gen pc version of the game, I really hope so. Will buy it for ps3 though.
Looks fun! Despite others complaints, I enjoyed AC3 quite a bit and am looking forward to this. Maybe not a day one buy, but I would pick it up when the price reduces.
Some nice footage you've got there.
Im sure this game is going to be fun.
But why did they switch characters so soon? Ubisoft should have kept the main character Conner just for one more game. Maybe an older Conner?
There could be a great scenario:The trail of tears.
President Andrew Jackson (Templar) learned about the Assassin (Conner) and use his "evil Templar-ness" to force the poor natives to walk the trail of tears. Hoping to rid the native american assassin, Conner.
Anyone like my idea?
I hope that Assassin's Creed doesn't become the third person version of COD, but I'm excited for this game nonetheless.
Pay attention to 4:52. It's the same animation as if he were holding Connor's tomahawk, but he's holding a sword. I want to be excited for this game but things like that gives me doubts. Maybe this is just the early stage of the animations or something.
