Anomaly Defenders
11 bit studios has announced a new tower defense game in their running "Anomaly" series. While in the previous games you played as the humans fighting off the aliens, the roles have been reversed for this new title. Humans are now invading the alien homeland, and it's up to you to stop them with whatever alien technology at your disposal. This tongue-in-cheek announcement video is framed as the first entry in a series of video guides about defending against those pesky human invaders.
One of the features 11 bit studios is promoting is that you can create your own tech tree upgrade path to make the most efficient tower possible. There are eight unique towers in the game, each with their own special ability. Anomaly Defenders will have 24 levels with multiple difficulty settings. While no release date has been revealed, the game is set to release sometime in spring on PC and mobile devices.
