Long before Guitar Hero or Rock Band were even a glint in the eyes of the talented music game developers at Harmonix, a little game called Amplitude graced many a PS2 console. The long-awaited follow-up is inching closer to release, and to celebrate the game’s forthcoming E3 showing, Harmonix has shared more details about the soundtrack, along with a new video of the game in action.

Harmonix had previously announced several notable artists who would be contributing their songwriting talents to the project, including Jim Guthrie and Freezepop. Today we get track listings of their songs.

C418 – "All The Time"
Danny Baranowsky – "Crypteque (1-2)"
Darren Korb – "Impossible"
Freezepop – "Phantoms"
George & Jonathan – "Crystal"
Jim Guthrie – "Force Quit"
Kodomo – "Red Giant"
Symbion Project – "Semiotic"

We also get a glimpse of the game in motion, thanks to this clipe of Baranowsky’s "Crypteque."

The song list above represents a much more independent vibe than some of Harmonix’s recent work on Dance Central and Rock Band, which is awesome news for anyone who enjoys exposure to new and interesting songs.
