The lights are on
To be honest, the only reason I bought Amnesia off of Steam was because of two things. 1: I heard it was terrifying 2: It was only five dollars thanks to the 2011 Halloween Sale... After slowly progressing through the game over a one year period I can easily say it's one of the best Indies I've ever played... Even better than Minecraft! The game is so eerie and mysterious... I was on edge the entire time, but found that most of the time Frictional Games was just trolling me into thinking something terrifying was going to happen, but it never did... And I'm not sure if that's good or bad! As the game progresses I can see how the game got its title, because- SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER!!! Anyway, I loved Amnesia, and could find almost nothing wrong with it. Except maybe slightly dated graphics but heck it's an Indie whaddya expect Crysis level graphics? And the puzzles could've been a bit more complex, even though they were fairly hard. The story was great, suspenseful, and far-fetched, which is just what I like. And finally to anyone who hasn't picked up this great title I highly request that you do, especially considering its fairly cheap price on Steam.
