The lights are on
So many RPGs tell a grand tale of worlds in peril and heroes that come from meager beginnings. Always Sometimes Monsters from Vagabond Dog and Devolver Digital is none of that. It's about real life, relationships, and a love slipping away.
Players can choose to enter this classic-looking RPG as a customizable protagonist of different genders, races, and sexual preferences. Those decisions will shape the story, and through number of branching paths lead players to different conclusions.
You can see the announcement trailer of Always Sometimes Monsters below. The title will be at PAX in Seattle this weekend. It's due out in Spring 2014.

Wow...kind of out of left field with this. It looks and sounds different, that's for sure. Might be interesting.
Seems... interesting enough. It'd like to see how it pans out.
interesting I'll give it a try, if a rpg about farming (harvest moon) is fun to me im sure a rpg about life could be a little fun
Color me interested. I love whenever a game deviates from the usual stuff we get.
If it was randomized then that would be pretty epic. It still looks pretty awesome though.
I love the title.
It's nice that it's a game about something most games aren't about, and so I suppose it's got that going for it.
But the whole preachy emo subjective morality crap . . . I got enough of that in college.
I've actually wondered why RPG's like this don't really exist. I would gladly play one. This game definitely holds my interest.
This is exactly the type of game I look for. Will buy, guaranteed.
I am extremely curious right now.
It seems pretty cool. I 'll have to keep my eye on it.
It does raise my curiosity but I like my RPGs to have magic, skill trees, level grinding and all that good stuff.
I wonder if they've got consoles in mind for it? I'd be up for playing this. Always on the lookout for something different.
Sounds really interesting, im going to checkit out for sure.
