The lights are on
These critics know nothing of a good game...Every review I read focuses on the wonky AI or the poor graphics but what they fail to recognize is the excellent story telling and great co-op experience. The licensing material from 20th century Fox is used to its maximum potential and the scares are as often if not more frequent than Dead Space will ever have. The Co-op experience is where the game really shines, taking over the use of in game characters makes it more exciting then ever and wandering the dark corridors with a friend makes me keep saying, "watch our six man or its GAME OVER." The mechanics of the game are solid and the upgrades are pretty awesome, especially since you can do everything mid game and don't need to wait for a mission to end to change things...I don't like though how there is a scoring system at the end of each level instead of a natural flow of things. Multiplayer is pretty awesome too how you can rank up both sides instead of one uniform progress bar for the whole game. Being able to rank up Xenomorphs and Marines separately is a pretty cool and I feel unique design aesthetic. With the pre-order bonuses being put to good use from all original voice acting to character models any Aliens fan will enjoy this game...just couch co-op it or 4 way online, it makes it that much more enjoyable.
Multiplayer 9.5/10
Story 10/10
Graphics 8.5/10
Audio 10/10
OVERALL 9.5/10
Nothin wrong with having a different opinion bro, glad you enjoyed the game.
9.5 for a game that isn't even worth playing solo seems a bit high.
Apparently to get a 10/10 for story your game needs to have unexplained plot holes absolutely everywhere...take note developers! But you're right though, constant screen tearing, bad textures and frequent pop-in DO deserve an 8.5 out of ten! This guy clearly knows a good game when he sees one!
