The lights are on
Gearbox Software's interpretation of the Alien hive is spot on: Eggs are scattered across the floor, humans are strung up in gooey sacks on the walls, and for whatever reason, this high-tech spaceship has a rusty fan with a flashing red light behind it.
Check out the video below to see Aliens: Colonial Marines' version of the hive in both concept and in-game forms.
We'll hopefully be able to flamethrower the living hell out of this room when the game hits PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on February 12. A Wii U version is also in development, but an exact release date has not been revealed.

Looking pretty good.
This is looking great so far!
Also, is the wretched video player gone for good now?
Awesome.
I hope this turns out good especially if it's coming from GearBox. I'm already getting my alien type fix anyways with Dead Space 3 when it comes out in Feb! :)
So, the game is based between Aliens and Alien 3, plotwise?
Still not impressed. When I see some proof that acid blood hurts and burns through metal then, maybe. When you can shoot a zeno in the process of killing another and save the marines life, maybe.
I've ben doubtfull of this since the demo walkthrough video aired with the voiceover. Saw a lot of things that needed improvement and it kills me to see them ruin another Alien game.
That is kind of a stupid video...I am looking forward to this game, but...come on. It remimds me of the teaser ad for the EV-1 back in 1990s...implying terror and fear with nothing to show for it.
Will the pc version require steam?
One of my most anticipated for this year.
