Killing Machines Scurry In Aliens: Colonial Marines Story Trailer

"Right now, we're worried about what's killing our marines in there. This is a liquid situation. In about 30 seconds, that horizon is going to turn black, as the most dangerous killing machines in the universe rise up over it." Wait a second... Predators are in this game?

Jokes aside, Gearbox Software's story trailer for Aliens: Colonial Marines paints an exciting picture. Dropships, misplaced starships, human betrayal, and swarms of slithering aliens abound in this brief look at what 20th Century Fox is calling a canonical entry into the Alien series.

Check out the trailer, and let us know what you think of it in the comments section below. And before you go, tell us which species deserves the title of "most dangerous killing machine in the universe." Is it the Aliens or Predators?

  • Neato.

  • I have to say, the Aliens are the more destructive ones. By the numbers, I think they would cause much more chaos.

  • The same day I am picking up Bioshock (or before) This game will be in my 360. Also, Predators rule.

  • Predators are honorable and have boundaries when it comes to killing. But aliens kill without thinking. Also aliens can multiply rapidly and completely wipe out civilizations(as seen in AVPR). So overall a predator could hold off a few aliens before it is overpowered and killed(or impregnated). I can't wait for this game.
  • wow...it seems like forever and a day this game was annouced...Still waiting ugh :/
  • Looks like Left Eye from TLC was put in stasis and brought back as a marine.

  • I have high hopes for this game. And maybe I shouldn't.

  • Looks like a movie. Impressed with the production value.

  • High hopes and low expectations.

    "just another bug hunt?"

look forward to it none the less.

    :)

  • I'd have to say that while the Predators are certainly the most dangerous hunters, when it comes to "killing machines", the Zenomorphs from 'Aliens' best fit that particular category. Their entire body, including their acid blood, is a weapon; they have such numbers & an incredibly effective means of reproduction that the loss of a few of their number doesn't reduce their menace much; & while they may not be truly 'intelligent', they have such an instinctual cunning that they are truly terrifying. Forget Freddy Kruger or Jason, a Zenomorph is the last thing I'd want do see over my shoulder (& probably would be).

  • Looking good! Actually it damn well better be good after how long we've had to wait for this game!

  • In alien vs predator, the aliens win but then predator cheats with a bomb so aliens win but the predators cheat

  • Aliens are more deadly, but Predators could outsmart them.
