The first was/is great, I've been playing it the last few days to get in the mood again, but yes, repetitive, but pfft. It had plenty of other good things about it to focus on just that. And from what I've seen with the dev. diaries, Corey, it looks like you couldn't have gone a better way. Keep it up, I look forward to playing it! Also, I just got back from preordering the Collector's Ed.. mmm.

Re: ASSASSINS CREED

If there is one thing I can all but guarantee it's that AC2 does not suffer from the sin of repetitive gameplay. I am sure some haters will continue to hate but the mission structure (and available mission types) are so vastly expanded that there is no way to compare the structure of AC1 to that of AC2. We literally - LITERALLY - took the mission structure from AC1 and THREW IT OUT. We didn't "modify" it or "expand" on it. We threw it away. We replaced it with something far more organic and freeform. Ezio's story forms the framework of the missions - where they come from, what you have to do, etc. The way one sequence plays out is nothing like the way another sequence plays out. Anyway I get sad when I see "I sure hope it's not repetitive" because I'd hope the jillion previews would help put the fear to rest. They have all said the same thing - that we've fixed the biggest issue people had with AC1. So please - if repetitive gameplay is giving you second thoughts - fret no more!

Also much love to those who enjoyed AC1! And to those who didn't - give us a second chance! We've worked really hard to make it worth your while.

ASSASSINS CREED

Its amazing although it gets repetitive after a while.
